| The transition from the end of the episode to the ending song was perfect. I still find a discord from the starting of the episode though. I hated it from the start, but I hate that "Ryoma-sama" girl. It's times like this where I wish that she'd just LEAVE along with Sakuna for all I care. |

| lolwat, is this for real? His secret technique was simply getting into a ready position between shots? That's one of the most basic principles of tennis—seriously, it's one of the first things every beginner learns. It's not at all unusual to bound off of one foot upon landing. That's how starting a sprint works!! Energy is stored in your leg as it bends and compresses and then you spring off of it. It's only natural to have most your weight centered on one leg as you land and exit the ready position. Sure, it takes a lot of practice for it to become second nature, but the way they're prophesying his "technique" is beyond ridiculous. And it's not like I'm expecting to see realism here, seeing how this is essentially a tennis-based battle shounen, but a little bit of common sense would be appreciated. All things considered though, this anime is entertaining as hell. Also, as a side note, it's sad how there's such a serious shortage of tennis anime. God damn Japan and its god damn obsession with baseball! |
