Well, he was originally listed as a main character. But, some one had to go and change it which, as in your case, leads to an indirect spoiler. |

| I think he probably got hit by a car. That's why it was focusing on cars on his way to the stadium. I like how it has left it as a mystery so far to provoke thought. If he was hit by a car, I'm surprised that his brother doesn't seem very sad. |

| Even though I ended up spoiling myself even before starting the show, this was still one of the best episodes I've watched of any anime. I especially liked how the episode used silence and ambient noises to build an eerie atmosphere. I really like when a show cuts out the music (and dialogues), and lets the visuals and noises do all the talking. And yeah, all the hints were there, right from the beginning of the show. |
| Judging by Tatsuya reactions, his brother is either dead, in comma or incapacitated to play baseball ever again, I hope is one of the latter ones. By the way it was set seem to be a car accident. hearing the siren, the red traffic light and the cars. Seems like Mitsuru Adachi likes love tragedies too. |
| Okay, this was one of the best episodes so far, if not the best. I mean, Tacchan was being insufferable at first, hitting Koutarou for no good reason, but the direction, and the atmosphere it evoked were superb! When Kacchan said he was off, and walked disappearing into the light, that was already a bit unsettling, I couldn't imagine a single not stupid reason for him to not go to the game, so I knew something was up with that long walk Tacchan took to get to school. But, omg, I was 90% done with this anime after that previous episode, but now? I wonder what happened, has Kacchan died? I'm a bit afraid to watch the next one, but to be honest I'm also surprised, and I want to know. |

| BRUH WTF Seriously WTF After last episode out of all things I expected this wasn't one of them. I'm surprised that I somehow managed to avoid the spoilers... Well, it is an underrated old anime so I suppose that's one way how. But now I gotta watch the next 2 episodes ASAP to actually know what happened. OOF |

| Well, it's kinda very obvious what happened to Kazuya at this point with the whole atmosphere and the symbolism of the cars, red lights, pigeons and an exit door. Finally, the plot is starting to move and Tatsuya also starts to change. |

| Damn, Kazuya can't catch a break . I wasn't expecting that. Feel's bad for him. Dedicate himself to be the best even though he wasn't specially talented. Get rejected indirectly by the woman he loves. And now maybe death. And couldn't achieve his dream. I feel some Major vibe... baseball..accident...death? Seems weird now... |
