I'm fully calmed about situation. That's still good, old S&W Agreed. After watching the OVA that was released earlier this year by the new studio producing season 2 there was a little too much "fluffy-lovey-lovey" crap without that tension brought about between Lawrence and Horo. I am glad that this episode definitely touched on all of the aspects that made the first season great. Plus with the some new characters introduced I would like to see how this all plays out |

| Horo why so cute o////o Animation was good! If I didn't know they changed producers for this season, I wouldn't have really noticed :3 I do miss Tabi, though I'm liking this ending a lot more :D I love the chemistry between Lawrence and Horo, and the "tension/problems" building up between them seem interesting too. The new kid is cute, but I don't want to see Horo together with anyone other than Lawrence! Plus, he looks too young. Can't wait for episode 2, this season looks promising!! <3 |

| ^Not just you. Glad S&WII started; the new OP isn't bad too. It was a nice episode, and it was funny how Horo acted so well with that blondie. ED isn't great though, oh well. Hope we'll get a great new season :] |

| Excellent episode as expected from Spice and Wolf series. I loved how Brain Base paid attention very well to the setting and added details to the scenery. The backgrounds looked beautiful. The voice acting is the best I've heared for this season so far. I felt bad for Holo at the end because to Lawrence, their relationship is nothing but a deal that ends once Holo returns back home which is quite untrue because he has feelings for her but he's yet to admit it. The mention of trading guilds reminded me of labor law course. |

| Not the strongest opining episode I've seen, but I agree that what it did have was impressive background art and well a little more fan service. Not sure why they decided to throw in so much, it was distracting. I'm still very happy Spice and Wolf is back. The foreshadowing in this first episode did open up some interesting new plot developments though. |

| The op and ed are similar to last ones, so I like them. So ya I'm guessing they'll burn through half of this new season with just volume 3! :D But I'm hoping they won't spend that on it though ^^ |

| Finally, I found the time to watch the first episode of the new season.... and I am TAKEN ABACK (in a very positive way). It was way better than I hoped it would be. I am SO HAPPY right now.... *hugging the entire thread*. ^^ The only thing that displeases me a little bit is the lack of Lawrence thoughts. I have read some of the novel-translations and noticed i.e. the following. The ED was very nice... I really enjoyed the cute little pics. And maybe there is a big spoiler hidden. Look at this: |

| I liked the first season's opening more. Probably hard to find a song similar but better than that, though. |

| This ep feels really similar to the first series and that's a good thing! Not much plot going on yet but it'll be interesting to see Horo return to her village. Though it seems Lawrence knows something that Horo does not. |

| That was great. Drunk Horo is simply hilarious. Opening is okay (liked the first season OP a but better) but the ED is great. |
