all of the above except for student loan?

I go to UBC, got entrance scholarships from that. Got some money from my province based on provincial exam scores. Got couple really small private scholarships... My parents pay for the rest of my tuition... I pay for living expenses >>COSTS MORE THAN TUITION<< (car expenses and commute expenses as it is fucking expensive in BC and to park at UBC.. and now housing expenses and food expenses etc) and my text books.

Thus is my undergrad.

I'll tell ya how-barely. What else is nice is that, already full and well knowing they're collecting from me an arm and a leg and then some, my school leaves me with less than no option but to sink further into the depths of debt upon my return next semester.
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

My family is considered poor, so I got a considerable amount financial aid. But I also pulled some federal loans and private loans so I don't have to make my parents pay at all. I'm about to start this coming fall at Georgia Tech. I sort of consciously accepted debt, since I got full, merit based rides from Purdue and Cal Poly SLO, but I was drawn to GT. . . hopefully an aerospace degree can help me pay off debt fairly quickly, but I also plan to be working while in school. . . defaulting scares. me. . .

Government Aided (Silly FAFSA I had to fill out wich was really me writing a bunch of 0's and my name) is awaiting approval process, I'm doing some small scholarships alongside, but mainly, I'm using my own working money for it.

If I could just go for certifacations, I would, because I don't see the point in taking classes that have absolutley nothing to do with the career field of your choice; but I don't have much of a choice here.

US needs a educational system overhaul.

I'm going to attend University of California Santa Barbara this coming Fall semester. Our tuition costs have sky rocketed due to California's massive budget crisis. I think the estimated cost at this point for everything including room and board will be at least $25k.

My mom plans to support most of my education (at least a good 4/5 of the cost per year) and I'll try to scrape up the last bit with part time jobs while I'm in school. My dad has been unemployed for almost 10 years now but he says he's going to go find work once I go to college.

I applied for a few grants but they all said my family's income was too high. The CAL Grant even said in their letter, "reported income through the roof".

Personally, I think middle class gets the bad end of the stick in these things. The poor, while still having to work hard to achieve their goals, qualify for far more grants and scholarships due to their financial status. And the rich are well...rich.

What happened to scholarships? That's a pretty common option I would think.

Anyway I got a pretty good scholarship, pays for more than half of my tuition and my parents are paying the rest... for now.

State pays for students fees. It pays nearly $15k a year for a single student and pays $300 as pocket money monthly.
But only those who got 2.60 and above GPA and total of 78% can enroll in the state uni.

I attend University in my hometown and get scholarships. So, if I study hard, then everything will be ok. And I’m doing my best there.

I go to a private university in California. Which translates to *expensive as hell*. My parents have helped out a lot, but I'm also up to my eyeballs in student loans, both from banks and from the school. I got a tiny scholarship and a 10k/yr grant from the school too. Every little bit helps. ;o;

A part comes from the government. A part is paid by my parents. And the last (small) part is paid by myself.

roughly 2/3rds are paid by a student loan and the rest is paid by my parents.
