| Incredible episode. It was a little confusing, but that just made me more curious. I haven't seen such great action scenes in an anime since... ever. |

LOL, guess I hafta make it clearer: "Final" as in the early overall impressions since I usually take 2-3 eps to properly judge a show cuz certain series start out as complete BS & turn EPIC in ep 2 or 3 so yeah, thanks anyway for the "correction" :-) |

| Very impressive first episode. It's been a long time since I've seen a good 'girls with guns' show so I hope they can keep this up. I didn't really understand why nobody noticed that people were getting shot during the festival, I hope they have a better explanation than "lol, they thought it was part of the show". |

| Armed only with the knowledge of this being based off of a game (428 which I know nothing about) I jumped in and I am not disappointed.. (so far) Very intriguing thus far, and very reminiscent of Garden of Sinners with the character design and animation style. I will say that it is beautifully animated for a TV series. Can't wait for the next episode! |

| Wow wow wow! I just loved this. It really surpassed my expectations; everything was just great, from the music to the characters to the action. It really drew me in and made me want to watch more immediately. :D Definitely looking forward to the next episode! |

| Looks promising. I can't quite tell what to make of the story yet, but the animation was simply marvelous. It reminded me of Kara no Kyoukai in that regard, and anyone who has seen KnK will be able to back me up when I say that's a very good thing. It probably won't be my favorite show this season, but Canaan and Bakemonogatari are in the running for prettiest. Will definitely watch more. |

| This episode is pure awesome even if it have little plot in it. The animation is excellent that astonished me so much, and it have potential plot for sure, and that was absolutely stunning. I am very pleased with this series, and Type-Moon has a good job on it. The characters designs and the story are very amazing even though, there’s episode one out so far. Therefore, we don't know what the story goes, but I hope that next episode will be more breathtaking. Cannan is so badass character, and she reminds me of Shiki from KnK except that Canaan has white hair. Overall, I have a high expectation from this series. |

| I wonder how many men armed with assault rifles getting shot at it would take in order to make the festival turn into massive chaos/panic, but then again, maybe the crowds won't notice it since they're too focused on that festival dragon. |

| Pretty nice start, sort of. It looked great but I didn't have a clue what was going on. Neither did the crowd by the looks of things which was pretty stupid, considering people were dying right beside them. Lovely character designs though <3 |

| Dear, I expect this show to butcher what we know of synaesthesia. The whole vision-theme they got going they totally hammer in too hard, if you're to have a theme, then pull it off well, don't shove it anviliciously into our faces. |

| well nice animation this is indeed as so many before me have said. I don't get much else of this show yet which is kinda sad since i expected something more off an introduction to the story in a first episode. instead imo they just went for the the artsy scenes to blow us away (it worked). Looks promising, let's see where they take this story too (dont know much of TM so i'm in the dark) |

| finally!!! something that seems great so far this season. Haven't been enjoying this season much so far. I'm hooked on this, Great animation and designs,art. Interesting plot, ideas, characters. Can't wait to see more. Could easily be the best of the season if it keeps this up. |
| The kids playing with the blood was "wait what", I'm semi confused but as for the characters I really like them so far. The animation was nice and I like their hair, the whole festival was pretty too. OP & ED were also good, I'm most deff watching more. |

| It was kind of confusing at parts, but I expect that it'll explain itself as time goes on. I liked it. It kind of reminded me a little of Noir. I'm definitely sticking with this series and hoping that the rest is as good (or even better!) than the beginning. |

| Quite a surprising beginning for one of the promising stars of the Summer eh.... Welll I'm.... Confused... yeh.. this is the first time I start with this feeling for an anime.... I'm not used to this universe... and I'm not even used to TYPE-MOON works.... It's obvious there's something of that/those guys in there, but the whole mystery/action gun girl with supernatural abilities got me confsed... I hope they explain that a lil' but earlier... plus fill us with the characters past or something like that.... the Characters looks nice and interesting so far.... I find the Camerawoman... strange, like she doesn't fit the whole feel of the anime, but ah whatever, I guess she will be like Jo's (Bakuretsu Tenshi) partner..... The visuals are amzing.... If they tried to catch us with just some visulas then I'm on it... I'll keep watching the anime just for that.... but a netter plot understanding will definitely give this anime a nice sot in our otaku hearts.. and in Anime History... Signs, Green |

That camerawoman really seems out of place among the mature & awsome cast. So far, she & the big boobs Chinese girl ( not Liang Qi since her awsomeness even outshines Canaan's & her chest is way more refined than that) are the sole thing that annoy me a tiny bit in the otherwise best show of this season. Guess those 2 are better off in some mindless boob grabbing, ecchi shows that seems to be too overflowing these days. |

| Canaan seems to be having a difficult time in Shanghai.. For the first time, this TYPE-MOON feature has nothing to do with the Naru-verse but it seems pretty good to me. In fact, it looks better than the Wii game "428". |

| I wasn't 100% sure of what character was what, and it did have a lot more dialog than I was expecting from just seeing the pic of it all these months. I did like the action scenes though. Interesting to see where this series will take us. |
