| It was...different, yet promising. Have to agree with loving the music. Some SZS-esque animations were present within the episode, that's SHAFT for you. Looking forward to new episodes. |
| I had some trouble translating the scene with meme, my japanese isn't quite there yet. guess i'm gonna have to wait on subs for some parts. Very SZS feely. I like this already. |

It was a summary of one of the series' prequel novels called Kizumonogatari, it deals with the blonde haired little girl who was once an adult vampiress. I believe it also details how the MC became a vampire and the events that surround it. That's what I like about this series, it throws you into the middle of an already ongoing story and it carries you on from there. I'm guessing the proper OP will begin next week, as for the song that played during the ED, that might actually be the OP song. |

| We are currently discussing it, but since all our staff really like it, we most likely gonna start translating it in around ~2days. we are also working with sorakake atm, so dont expect subs very soon. Probably we will have around one week delay, compared to airing. Alva [II-Subs] |

I posted above the groups I found on Fansubwiki Sora Subs & Yuurisan-Subs have both posted on their website that they plan on subbing this series. Also II-Subs posted above they are planning on doing it, with about a week delay :) So hopefully we will have some releases soon, can't wait |

| yea Ididnt expect this to be that good but it surprised me. The animation is great, the jokes are funny and characters are well done. Story is interesting as well. It looks promising. |

| Great show but it has the same problem as Natsume Yuujinchou... Kamiya Hiroshi. For me, he is and will always be Zetsubou-Sensei, I can't take his voice seriously anymore, even within a serious character. >.< I like his voice but he will always be the one and only Mr. Zetsuboushita... |

| this anime surprised me. i don't know anything but the novels so and by the summary i was expecting some comedy. i turn out dead wrong of course, but the plot, as confusing as it was, didn't seem that bad. however the art work annoyed me. even though it was well done as far as detail goes it had to many close ups and dramatic backgrounds. call me old fashioned but just i couldn't get into the story it made me feel like my screen was too small |

| That was intense. Shaft once again did a great job with play of colors and I really like how some parts are animated as if the viewer (me) is actually in the story. Her attack really shocked me. I think animation was very well done. Finally found a good quality show for this season. |

| I might have liked this ep if not for one scene. I mean, think about it, some girl sticks a knife into the mouth of the main hero, then cuts him and what deos he do? He helps her. Is he a masochist of what? I may be overly sensitive but that one scene ruined the anime for me. Other than that great animation and music. Story may too be intersting, but one episode is to little to judge. |
| That surely turned out to be far more interesting than I thought it would be. The animation style is awesome - reminded me of SZS. Loved the OP, and this anime seems like it's going to be carrying a lot of darker themes (yay). Also, I've taken a real liking to Hanekawa already :D |

| I loved pretty much everything about this first episode. The art, the animation, the characters, the dialogue, the music... I kind hope the show as a whole won't be as gruesome as that intro looked like, but even so, I'm giddy about this show after the first episode. |
