| I didn't want to pick that one I started to follow a lot anime this years and most of them are disappointing, but when they main character is voiced by Takehito Koyasu I got curious plus when ppl keep saying it reminds them of TTGL well I hope its not gonna turn like Sora o Kakeru Shoujo! WTF was that ending! |

| This was pretty different than how I'd imagined it to be before I saw the episode. I did think it would be an out right shonen anime. For me, there wasn't anything great or outstanding about this episode. | I have one word for this anime: Intense. I've got a feeling that it may end up being my favorite for this season. The OP and ED were my favorite parts of the whole episode though xD The only downside was that everything was introduced too fast. I'm thinking I might have to give the episode another watch >.> |

| I have been really hyped about this anime, and i love madhouse series. But this was plain awful. It pretty much is what people say it is, A ttgl rip-off. (Which i think is extremely overrated btw) but with a massive chunk of fan service. Knowing the kind of anime fans out there, there will be a ton who will love this. But so far, if it stays like this i will definitely be dropping. Hopefully it may get better. |
| I was pleasantly surprised by it, maybe it's the summer vibe the series seems to have. Nice old-time comedic feel, funny character interaction and accordingly over-the-top acting. Looking forward to more ^^. |
| wtf was that? o_0 maybe that's just me (most credibly though >_>) but i found character designs just hideous, same as their characters and not even talking about how events was going, this episode was just awful >_< and was ED even from this anime? 0_o i truly hope that everyone who says here that this resembles that oh so great TTGL are wrong, since i plan to watch TTGL and it would be really disappointing if it would be anything like this >_> |

| I actually was looking foward to this series, looked like a TTGL look alike from afar. But it was something ..else.. If i was to rate the episode, it would fall on pretty low marks, although with that being said i didnt particurly have a bad time watching it, so i will continue :) |

| Calling thing a ripoff is just silly. Unless it's like an exact copy with lower quality. Things naturally influence each other and to a point of things being more and more created, there's only so much probability for things to be different. I'm irritated with TTGL fans and it being at the top position on MAL. But even that was much better to me than this thing. The characters irritate me. The art irritates me. The entire premise irritates me. And if you think I can't judge a show by the first episode alone, enjoy seeing me come in here and bashing on the thing EVERY SINGLE EPISODE topic. Then you'll be asking me "why are you still watching if you hate it so much". Plus I'm going to continue watching enough just so that I can give it a low rating and add to what'll be it's inevitable low ranking. I can't do that if I drop it after one episode. |

| So far, Needless seems more like Scryed to me. The Blackspots remind me of the Lost Ground from Scryed. Needless powers = Alter Users. Both have an organization trying to capture/kill needless/altar users. |

| This is the over-the-top awesomeness that I've been searching for! The production values are top notch and the characters seem cool enough. ED was just oh.. Looking forward to this series and the fun it has in store! To all the haters, just sit back and enjoy it for what it is. An insane and fun anime. Comparing it to TTGL (though obvious) is just dumb and will ruin your viewing experience. That is all... Bring on the second ep! |
