| Twisted Metal campaign. Wish there were more than 3 playable stories, although the way they set it up works well for potential overall story sequels. Overall very fun with some added variety in the stages as opposed to constant death matches. The racing stages were pretty fun looking back at them although they made me rage the most during the game. The boss battle stages had a nice mix of challenge to them as well. Favorite vehicles to use were Death Warrant, Roadboat and Meat Wagon. Now back to the highly addictive multiplayer. |

Pretty much the same all around (except the best cars are roadboat, outlaw and kamikaze for the races). The most disappointing part is that there are only 3 characters rather than the usual each driver gets their own little back story... half the fun of twisted metal was the absurdly cheesy and stupid ambitions of the drivers, and watching calypso fuck it up. I can see it now... Vermin would wish to wipe out all the "pests" in the world, talon would be an out of work tv reporter who wants the biggest scoop (which undoubtedly leads to his death being the biggest scoop), kamikaze... would be a japanese school girl. Also dissapointed with the roster itself... seems a little bare for a twisted metal game (guess thats what dlc will be for). Oh well... multiplayer is fun at least. |
