| So Haruka feels guilty because of Takayuki devoting his life to her. That's why she thinks it's best for them to say goodbye, how sad. | i don't know how this will end or go yet but i think i like it better since i was a haruka fan season 1 was great but because of the ending it dropped from a 9 to a 8 for me. i was even considering a 7 and it was not because he didn't end up with haruka but because it was just so hard that he only said goodbye and haruka standing alone for it so i expect a better satisfying ending in this arc NakaShima-Shan said: i think this ova is worthless since we know the ending of Mistuki and Takayuki...so why haruka and Takayuki are dating ????? it might be because many people where not satisfied with the ending at least on the site where i saw it i had never seen so many bad comments on a anime in my anime career lol or it is indeed like someone explained based on a light novel which has different endings |

| Well this was rather nice, a nice pace and a sweet atmosphere, some interesting development with that different paths are taking as in Takayuki chose Haruka instead of Mitsuki. The story of this first episode was actually quite nice although I didn't expected that ending to be that fast! I do wonder what the rest of the episodes will be like! I'd say nice sequel ova as I like the different universe... |

| I didn't comment much on the original, but I'll say here that with all it's flaws it was still superior to this. One thing I really dislike about this Ova is how pathetic the art is for Takayuki. One thing that made S1 bearable was that he was decent looking, but the art here makes him look totally different, and not in a good way. |

| I wish a translation of the visual novel was available. If I could play through the visual novel I could find out why Haruka chose to state "I'm saying goodbye to you Takayuki." I mean, I suppose she feels guilt but more episodes in this alternative path could be used to actually give her proper showing of her guilt. I'm still team Mitsuki, but it's nice to at least see a basic version of an alternate path in this story. It should've had alternative with its title rather than Next Season. Since it is an alternative path from Mitsuki's path. And maybe out of fairness their relationship should've been fairly developed like Mitsuki got in the first series. Maybe more than 4 episodes given for this OVA. |
