If you want to look at it from a realistic psychological standpoint (not shit talking like I have been) then you probably have to look at their childhood; it's likely they had an abusive mother or sister or got teased by girls at school for being an otaku or somesuch, so they retreat to 2D fantasies and shun 3D hoes. |

| Seriously, anime girls are closer to perfect (read: still far out) than real girls are. You need to go through months of bullshit to get closer to a real girl, whereas 2D girls don't need your constant attention, nor do you need to spend money on every occasion possible to buy her something, and they don't whine that easily. Besides, you get to learn her secrets that you'd never hope to find just by staring at a computer screen. tl;dr: anime (your vote) |

Whenever I walk outside and see girls of my age, I can't blame anyone for not wanting to have a female partner so far (I have a girlfriend myself and I've been quite lucky to find her though). They act as if they were still 14 and, as said in other topics, are still in that period where apparently it's necessary to come home drunk every friday and saturday (not even to mention that most of the times they are faking it). Everyone not in their scene consisting of parties, booze and totally random sex automatically is categorized as boring. I don't try to criticize them, if they find it absolutely necessary then I won't stop them, I'm just stating it as how most people in my environment apparently see it, if not, how I see it. Having that said, I can't blame any otaku for not liking 3D girls. Hell, 2D girls actually seem much more capable of maintaining a sophisticated relationship than the majority of the 3D ones if you look at it like that. |
