| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Kenji and Nanami go on a date around town, looking at books, CDs, and even puppies. Nanami gathers some vegetables from the fields and the two cart them back to the restaurant. After dropping those off, they set off again to do some touring on the motorcycle. Nanami learns from Kenji the fun of flashing the peace symbol with her fingers at passing motorists. The motorcycle breaks down however, and strands the two at a local inn where they end up sharing a room. In order to break the awkwardness that develops as they sit together alone in their room, Kenji and Nanami go outside by the lakefront. There, they share the folk dance that they didn’t get to do back during the school trip. Afterwards, Nanami confesses, whispering a barely audible “suki”. Kenji hugs her, and Nanami closes her eyes like she’s ready for a kiss, but it never comes - he just hugs her again. |

| I was so happy when they were together by the lake. Tears came to my eyes while Seeing them holding their hands, I knew there's something coming.. Then.. When Nanami confess love to Kenji... And he hugged her... and she closed her eyes.. ready for a kiss... It was so moving... but then! In a second an emotion has dissapeared. I really said a swear in my mind and thought, "what a jerk that Kenji is!" So stupid! I'm so angry! He ruined all the romantic mood! Why?! I'm asking- why!? What is he waiting for? Is he gay or what? He rejected Sakura.. well, ok, I understand because I thought he has a feeling to Nanami.. and now? What was he thinking? or maybe he is still childish so he don't thing about kissing- hugging is enough for him? But they could be a couple!! It was .. so close... "You're in my arms And all the world is calm The music playing on for only two (...) And now you're beside me and look how far we've come So far we are so close " Why he had to ruin everything?! |

| suki... These kinds of episodes are why i watch anime, especially romance anime for. Incredibly beautiful scene and this anime is sky rocketing in my books. I literally shaded tears at that scene, it was just beautiful This episode was actually so beautiful I watched it again :) infinity/5 |
