| (you guys are thinking i'm one of those people who never finish a book and starts another one. Well i'm not...i got this brain blast and decide to write it all down before it's gone. XDXD) Reality broke so far ago and left me this game. The life before was never the same again. I want to end this game......... -------------------------------------------------------------------- Today was like every other. I wake up and walk to school. School is almost over and I'll be getting a job this summer. I walk past a shop and sees a reporter on T.V. "Found today at the Excel High school was the body of Lindsay Smith. It was a horror to hear that she had been murdered!" The reporter exclaimed. Another death? Two so far already..... "Officials are warning kids to go home as soon as possible after school is over for the time being." She continued. I walk to the front gate of the school and look at the ever-so-same School. Kids hanging out at the front seems to be talking about the second murder. "Hey, John." I turn around to see Devan. "Doesn't today have a strange feeling!?" She exclaims. "Sorry...i don't get those feelings like you do." I replies. Devan is always positive and her "feelings" are surprising correct. "Your ESP senses are horrible! " She says . That's Devan for you. She believes in the paranormal but personally I believe it's all one big coincidence. she looks away as someone calls her. "Gotta go! talk to you later." Shes says as she runs towards her boyfriend. Devan is the only one who provides some kind of variety to my tedious life. We been friends before we were born. Our moms were childhood friends and grew up together! "We are the second generation of childhood friends." That's what my dad like to say. My day continues with first period math then reading. I noticed a while ago that when you give up expecting something new, you could speed the day away quickly. I zoom past the day until the last period bell rings. I lean back in my chair and watch every leaves. I spot a guy across the room that hasn't left yet. Suddenly he looks at me with eyes so cold it sent chill down my spine. I haven't seen him before and believes he was someone's boyfriend. The guy stood up and left. Guess he got ditched.. Surprised at something weird on a tedious day, I just sit there. For who knows how long I just sat there and nonchalantly waste the day staring at the ceiling. " I knew I'll find you here!" Devan says and I look up. " Lets go....." I stood up and sees the afternoon sun shine on my back. Guess I been here for about 2 hours. "Why do you stay in there all day? There's better thing to do!" She asks. "Not really. Did something good happen?"I reply as we walk down the hallway. "Yes! Michael gave me a necklace!" She pulls out a gold necklace. "Cool. Lets get something to eat. I'm hungry." I say and skip down the stairs. "Okay I'm feel---" she was interrupted as a scream fills the hallway. The look on Devan's face tells me that she's thinking the same thoughts as I did. | Devan reacts faster than me. She sped down the hall towards the point where the scream was heard. I ,who was at the bottom of the stairs, raced up to try to catch Devan. "What do you think your doing, Stupid?" I scream at the top of my breath Without slowing down she turned her head and say " I don't know! I have to do something!" Slowing down to catch a break, Devan turned at a corner and left my view. "Damn! I got to hurry up!" I told myself Speed walking I too turned at the corner to see Devan there. "What the hell are you doing?" i say breathing heavily She didn't respond as if she was ignoring me. I finally realized she was staring at something. I turn to view what she was looking at. A limpless lifeless body of a student who was breathing and laughing a day ago. Freakd-out by the sudden sight of the body i jump away and fell on my ass. "Devan....Lets get outta here!!" i whisper as if i didn't want the body to hear. "yeah..lets go" she responded monotically as her knees finally gave away. The shock of seeing the body was the complete opposite for her. I didn't want to see her like this and began to pull her away from the body. We have to get out of here before the murderer comes back. "Lucky! looks like we get to kill another peice before the pre-phase is over!" say a buff looking guy walking out of a classroom. Shit! i fucking jinxed it! |

| Successfully trying to shake Devan out of her shock I look up to see the killer pull out a bloodstained knife. "Devan! Come on!" I scream at the statue in front of me. Warning! I heard a robotic male voice somewhere in my brain say. Looking up to see the Killer have suddenly halved the distance between us, I pushed Devan out of the way and Nearly made contact with the knife. That wasn't the end of it. Rebounding, the killer use the forced of the wasted attack and sliced again. Amazed with dodging the swift attack, I jump out of the way to feel the knife slash my arm. Falling onto the ground, I felt the blood pouring out of my shoulder.Warning! Again the voice warns me in time to roll out the way as the killer attempts to stab me. Warning!Warning! No Freakin' duh! I'm going to die somewhere around the next 2 minutes! Crawling like a stupid blonde in a horror movie i try to get further away from the killer. "You lucky asshole! the Ability Warning won't help you much longer!" Yells the killer as he launches for me. Flinching, I close my eyes and put my hands in a defective position. Warning! Warning!Warning!Warning! The voice repeats over and over before it comes to a complete silence. I open my eyes to gladly see a different stranger do a roundhouse head kick. Flying more then 5 feet back the Killer faints. "I bet your happier then hell to see that your still alive!" The stranger jokes. "yea....." I say as i walked over to Devan to see her safely sound asleep on the floor.I"m glad your okay. I think as I brush her hair out of her eyes. Devan woke up after a while .The police came after the stranger calls them and takes the killer away. "We need you to come to the station after you get a check up form the hospital." A police officer told us. "Okay, sir" The nameless stranger replies. In the ambulance the tension was so thick it couldn't even be cut with a knife. Stop it! no knife jokes.... "I'm Leo, by the way." He says trying to loose the tension but I knew we were all thinking about what the killer said with absolute confidence before he was taken away. "The game's never over until you die! They will come for you and when Phase I begins I will get my damn revenge!" |

| I woke up screaming in the middle of the night. Everything that had happen on the previous day flash into my head. Breathing hard I lay back down. I had just returned from the doctor a few hours ago and when I had finally slept it was a nightmare. The doctor had said we were okay to leave. By the time we had left it was 11 o'clock and the police officer told us to tell him about the situation tomorrow. Again I lay there and stare at my ceiling which shared a lot of similarities with the school's. My mom died sometime ago and when my sister turned 20 my dad left. Leaving my sister to take care of me. With a two-year college diploma she works at some agency at minimum wage. She hardly comes home and when she does she falls sleep right away As the noon sun rises i just continued to lay there. Usually once I'm in a hypnotic state Devan is the one who get me out of it but since shes not calling me to go to school I guess I'm not going. Finally my hunger broke me out of my self-hypnosis. I walk into the kitchen and take the bread out from the cabinet. From the fridge I take the ham and with a knife began to slice it into thin pieces. My phone rings in my pocket. Caller I.D says it's Devan. Warning! I subconsciously jump away dropping the phone. The voice was back when i thought it was gone reminding me of yesterday. I now saw the meaning for the warning. Being right-handed, I had put the knife down and picked up the phone. My clumsiness had knock the knife down and it was about to stab my slipper-less foot. The phone came back to my mind and I picked it up. "hello?" I say being breathless for the second time today. "I'M SORRY!" I hear Devan scream over the phone as if last night she been keeping it all in. I don't blame her for standing there and not running away. I didn't do much good either and would have been killed too. "It's okay! calm down." "No! I'm sorry. I couldn't do anything and just sat there staring." Her voice was breaking and she began to cry. "Come on Dev! It's over and everything gonna be okay!" I comforted. After a few minute of silence she says "Do you mind if I come over? No one is home." Well, I guess boyfriends and girlfriends are just for show since she didn't call him." Sure. Whatever you want." i say "Oh my god! thank you, john! I'll come over as soon as possible. See ya!" shes says as if my house could make all her trouble go away. The doorbell rang as I put my cell back in pocket. "That was very quick." I walk down the hallway. "Coming!" As I open the door I hear "Thank goodness I got the right house." I stare at Leo who was at my door "Sorry for the intrusion but i have the feeling we need to talk." He says with a bright feeling that was hiding what he truly meant. |

| Sitting on my bed I stare at the other two person sitting on the floor. My room is pretty small for an average student and it hardly has anything in it. Just a this bed, a T.V., the tea table and the cushion Devan is sitting on right now. "I've been having this feeling and I believe it isn't over yet." Leo says as if tension never gets to him. This is the first time i actual noticed how Leo looks. He's taller then me but several inches and somewhat built. his face is boyish even though he is already in high school. "Whatever happened yesterday is beyond normal so I was hoping that if we put our brains together we might get an idea." He continued. I had to admit that the thick atmosphere was beginning to loosen up. "I don't know much at all! I was at the field before going to the classroom to meet John." Devan finally speaks. She was also beginning to become more of herself. I guess it's my turn to say something."Did you hear something in your head yesterday when we were attacked?" I asked. Both Devan and Leo was looking at me if I said something psychopathic, which I did. "Never mind." I try to change the topic. "What about you, Leo? What made you go to where we were?" "I don't really know! I was just wandering around the school." He says "Then I'm guessing all three of us are clueless." Before I was about to suggest something to do I had noticed that we weren't in my room anymore. We were in some giant white space of nothing as far as the eye could see.What the hell happen to my room? "Okay......What now? This is weirder then yesterday." Devan says as she searches the area. "Its over there!" Leo says as he points to a group of people. We walk to the group of people and I ask "Um...Do you know where we are?" "I don't know! I got a appointment right now and I can't afford to be late!" Says some guy in business clothing. People here looks like they had no connection to one another. There were from Mothers to Homeless people. Devan and Leo was close behind me asking other people. The chatter of everyone asking and wondering stops as a giant screen comes out of nowhere. A freakish monster face appears on the screen. "Pre-phase is over. The game has now begun! Termination for position will now begin." Its voice booming through the crowd. Warning |

| (I got the name from Charmed XD. it was based off of my friend who weirdly coincidentally is a Leo XD) (P.S. I am horrible at present and past tense so i keep changing them T.T its suppose to be present tense XD) I've learned better to not doubt the freakishly and insanely correct warning that goes off in my head. I quickly grab took hold of Leo and Devan and dove for the floor. A gust of wind pasted over our heads with the sound of bone crunching and blood splashing. I had closed my eyes from the impact to the floor but i subconsciously kind of knew what had happen. Leo ,the one always first to recover, pulls me and Devan up. Most of everyone around us were cut in half by the gust of wind and blood was everywhere. I stare at my body to see myself drenched in blood. The business man I was just talking to was in front of me with his eyes open as if he was alive. he couldn't be. Because of his height he had been cut in the stomach and now just laid there staring off into space. The rest of the survivors had began running away in chaos. Then I notice there was a fat man holding a 30-foot scythe standing standing at the edge of the pool of blood and flesh. I was one-hundred percent sure that there was no such man in the group before the screen came on. He wore the same clothing that I had memorized for the rest of my life and wished I would never see again. It was black light-weight spandex that makes it easy for the wielder to move in. It was the same as Him. My heart skip more then a beat when someone of my nightmare walks out from behind the Fat Man. My eyes must have been playing tricks on me and all this would be another dream if I really believe this was a dream. I highly doubt it. Devan next to me was about to scream when she had pulls herself together. She promised me that she would never break-down again and I guess she kept her promise. "I guess I must have killed at least twenty. Just about thirty more would be enough for the requirements" The Fat Mans says. "I told you I'll come back for my revenge!" The killer yells with a voice of a beast and pushes the fat man aside. He takes out a knife and charges with speed faster then I have seen before. Leo whispers "Run. I'll take care of this." I was sure there was nowhere to run and I doubt Leo could defeat the Killer again. But through cowardliness I ran. Leo dodge the first swipe of the killer and was about to do a kick when another gust of wind blew him away. This time I had a clear view. It was the Fat Man who took a swing of his overly-sized scythe that seem to come from a manga with incredible speed that made it look like wind. "We can't let that guy stop Leo!" Devan stops me and says as she races toward the man. Before she was anywhere near the Fat Man she was hit with a stick in the head by a women. She was a women around her mid-twenties and seems to be having the time of her life unlike the rest of us. The stick was actually something that looks like a boomerang. I had just finally noticed that there wasn't just the Killer and Fat man here. There was about five more people around the white space who was also wearing the same clothing. And of course killing other people. Dam! What the hell on earth is happening! I run to Devan and pulls her up. "Are you okay?" I ask "I'm fine. Please leave me this bitch for me and go stop the fucking over-sized man!" Devan says angrily. There was nothing I could do. When Devan goes into swearing mode she is more scary then the Killer and I wasn't going to go in her way. Devan was a way better fighter then me since she didn't neglected the karate class her mom paid for us. I trust her enough to know that the grinning women was no match for her I now have to stop the Fat Man by myself. I have to completely trust this suspicious ability I have just gain and defeat him. If I got hit by one of those swing I definitely would be meeting the businessman. The Fat Man senses my intentions and took a swing. With a Warning two second early I dodge the deathly swing. I lost my balance with the wind blasting in my face. Another Warning rings and I rapidly regain my balance and successfully dodge it this time. I smiled to myself as the Fat Man looks at me with a panicking face. I was getting surprising close to him and I bet that the scythe was for only long range. After a series of Warnings and swipes, that I could not remember due to adrenaline, I have gotten close enough to use the only move I spent enough time in karate class to learn. The Karate kick. With one kick the Fat Man laid on the floor. I did it! But however it was no time for celebrating as I turn around to see Devan and Leo was having a harder time with their opponents. Before I could help anyone I screamed in pain as my brain felt as if exploded. I fell to my knees and grab my head willing the pain to stop. Somewhere in my head I knew that I had over used the Warning. Finally I went to fetal position and faint. (P.P.S.............I wonder how the moms were best friend if the mom just died....XDXD Sorry! i got my info messed up XD also sorry for stupid grammar mistakes) |

| I can't keep this up! The killer is aware of my presence unlike my surprise attack yesterday. So far I have been slash at my right shoulder. I was able to dodge it fast enough but The Killer's inhuman speed and strength was too much for me to handle. I took a quick look at how the others were doing. John was unconscious on the floor but luckily he had defeated The Fat Man. Divan, like me, wasn't doing so well with her opponent. The Grinning Women was surprising agile and is matching Divan unique style of combining karate and instinctive street-fighting. The Grinning Women was at advantage due to her boomerang and Divan is taking more damage then I am. My hand felt like it was about to break when I blocked a head kick. Without hesitation The Killer use the flow of the failed attack to slice me. The something extremely unusual happens. The Killers slows his attack down for some reason and I was able to jump away and dodge it. Staying several feet away to regain some of my energy as I kept my undivided attention on The Killer's every move. The Killer had no need to rest with his seemingly endless supply of stamina and went straight towards me. Again, the Killers slow down his attack and I was able to counterattack. I kick him to see him float away as if he was defying gravity. No... He wasn't doing anything. It isn't him slowing down his attack but it is my mind that was slowing down. Without warning my mind went back to normal and the killer flies away like he was suppose to. The Killer stands back up as if the only effect the kick did was make him angrier. Dam it...it's impossible to win. It’s a matter of time before I get killed and if I were to defeat The Killer there would be another dozen of others like him I would have to fight.what the hell happen to logic and the laws of science? Did God get cranky about his apple cider and decide to take it away?!? (Don’t mind if I switch characters XD) I can't lose this fight! This woman is an amateur compared to me! I kick her to the floor, block her swipe of her boomerang, step on her hands and kick away the weapon. My Sensei taught me that with time, anything could be understood so in the last 20 minutes I have been going easy on The Grinning women so I could read her every attack. With her boomerang she's just like a 9-year old kid that just found a gun. Dangerous but lacks the knowledge of how a weapon could be used. Before I could Knock her out with a satisfying kick to the head I found my shoes was burning.what the hell....fire? the grinning woman stood back up and I could see that she was also feigning her lack of fighting skill.the tables have turned.....again (Character Images are coming up XD So far i ma working on a group image of John, Devan and Leo but idk if anyone wanna see a trio of The Killer, The Grinning Woman and the Fat Man) |

| Back to back with Leo surrounded by the Grinning woman and The killer. less then 10 minutes have pass since we came here into this white room but it felt like hours. "I got nothing left on my selves." Leo jokes at our misery. A shock on The killers face as he quickly counts the number of people. "Shit" he mumbles then shouts "Greg!Isis! Stop killing! there's only 20 left!" "Since when did Joseph gave you the order to order me around?!" he yells back choking people. "Fuck! You!" he addresses Leo." Whats your name?" "Leo" He laughs. "A name that reflects its owner. Strong and positive! I bid you an unwilling farewell." "You lucky whore!" The Grinning Woman laughs hysterically. In a blink of an eye they all vanished. The killer,The Woman, ad The Fat Man and every other suited murderers. I start giggling "Oh My God! This must all be a dream!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Letting Devan Calm down i went around to check on the survivors. I counted around ten others besides Devan,me and the fainted charlie. Gathering the survivors around a clean spot I began to treat their wounds. (ugh..................) |
