| Started working on the guitar part of the ED; it's nothing complicated but the load of distortion isn't helping at all. Waiting for subs before watching the episode itself though. |

| The new ED was okay, guess I'm just going to have to get used to it. I don't really like all the flashing at the beginning, it might not be good for those who suffer epilepsy etc. :/ |
| When Haruhi smiles, she looks so much like Yui in K-ON! Ah, so happy that it comes back. The ED is good but too short and of course not as good as the Hare Hare Yukai. And no Tsuruya-san in this ep. |

Pretty much. In total, there should be 14 new eps mixed in, with 7 straight new ones starting in 4 weeks. |

| ^I think this will last 2 seasons in total, so 24 episodes in total. I think something like that was officialized months ago, which first started out rumors such as "Entire rerun of season 1, then season 2 will be shown" everywhere, and even some "It'll be 2 reruns of season 1 just to piss us off." So, I don't know how they're going to do this if they plan on only having 12 new episodes in total, but it's hard to predict what will happen, really. |

| god knows why they have to mix up the episodes so damn much. for 2 years, i thought i was only watching content from the first volume. and now that i think about it, what a fitting name for that song haruhi sings in the first season. it's called "god knows" right? how perfect. it emphasizes how i feel about some of the decisions the series takes. |

| I'm glad this is finally happening but... The animation is weird, it feels really different. Nagato looks like Rei. It feels like the Munto TV series. And it seems like all the originality that the first season had is kind of gone. Like the explosive Haruhi scenes (but she was actually supposed to be kind of down in this ep) and the strange angle shots that I love are not very prominent. However, Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody is more of a informational chapter. A lot will build off of it in the future, but the chapter itself has never excited me too much except that we get to see Haruhi as a kid. So for all you that are watching this and are disappointed with the plot, don't worry, it will get a LOT better. I dunno like I said, its taking me a while to get used to the new art, it just feels very wrong. EDIT: Starting to like the animation better... but Nagato still looks like Rei! |
