| I don't know if this necessarily contradicted the earlier infection. It seemed like an extended metaphor for a child of abuse or perhaps rape. I assume that the mother did not want Yume at all because of the terrible relationship between the parents. It's actually getting more interesting. It's obviously dark and screwed up and depressing, but this episode was not as edgy. |

| Okay, so now we learn that Yume has been a monster... her entire life. I'll give it to the animation team - seeing her as a baby was really fucking creepy. But that doesn't really explain why she is a monster at such a young age. Was she infected with the Pupa virus from birth? I don't understand. I should probably stop attempting to analyze what is going on with this show. |
| probably best episode so far. gotta admit i did enjoy it a little. if only they added in a little more sparkle to that episode. no make that a lot of sparkle to the series by changing 50% of the anime welp at least there's some progress dat main character (the boy) that i totally did not forget his name looked cute as a baby tho |

| Wtf was that. That was just messed up and senseless. So was Yume infected or was she always an anomaly? And the mom herself wanted to be abused so that she could feel reality? WHAT? |

| So Yume was already a monster from birth. Wonder how that happened. Or actually it could've just been the mother's delusion as she didn't wanna have another kid with her abusive husband. Also this series is not even that disturbing or gory so far. Only the incest part is slightly uncomfortable. I don't get why people are freaking out over this. |

| So Yume was already a spawn of the virus from the beginning? The eldritch dog at the beginning might've just been a mechanism for unleashing some aspect of Yume's monsterisation then. The baby scenes were unsettling as they were intended to be. |
