I'm liking this series, but when are the rest going to find out about Jun? I though between last episode and this one that everyone would find out, not just Kaya. Oh well.

i feel sorry for the detective guy having to buy all that undrewear, and you just know the saleswoman doesn't believe him.
the situation with kaya and her love life kind of highlights what it was like back then; and jun doesn't know what to think at all

I kinda understand how Jun thinks if it were me in that kind of situation I would probably do/say the same things she did ,personally I think it was kinda annoying how Kaya just kept silent and worrying about history and not telling that guy that she loved him anyway...
Arashi and Hajime saved the day ^^

Seemed like a slow episode but still alright... this is still easily one of my top anime series of the spring season. I would like the story to progress a bit faster though.

I also felt bad for the detective, having to go into that shop. xD
Even though Kaya seems like a coward, still like her pairing more than Arashi's.
That was some pitch that Hajime threw though....

My anime culture fails me here. Where is the final quote from, this time? The one "today I read another wonderful book"-ish... Can't figure it out!

Nice episode, it was good to see the world outside the Ark and the past (read: Jun's "friends"). A bit slow but it was ok.

jun and kaya is nice but i prefer the hajime arashi pair up~~ its a lot more entertaining.
they are much funnier><
but i think they would add at least one more epi for kaya saying "i love you" to that guy.

Great episode once again, totally overtaken by the Jun (how I like this character!) and Kaya. Then end was especially awesome. Oh and fantastic direction as always, I could watch it again and again just to enjoy the great plans and camera work.

This was another boring episode. I don't understand why we have another episode focused on Jun and Kaya. It's so weird. True we got insight on Jun, but it was more a confirmation on all the hint that they laid in previous episodes. I don't know. Nothing was really poignant, nothing was really funny, nothing was really well done. Especially that "dance" Kaya did which was basically, "take off your shoes and spin once." Then I especially don't understand Jun blowing up at Kaya when just a few seconds previous she was thinking about how she understood and sympathized with her.

There are a couple of disastrous elements in this show on the direction front that could pretty much wreck the show from me. There have been really terrible transitions between comedy, default, and drama that really irk me. I kind of just want a full comedy episode right about now, but I don't think I'll get it because it seems like that was bait to hook viewers into the show.

Another good episode for me. It all starts with the OP wich pulls me into the ideal mood. After that it's just lay back, relax and enjoy the episode.

Also I like the Jun character, even tho she has some flaws. The Jun*Kaya match up don't hold up agains the Arashi*Hajime match up either. They are just to awesome together.

Great episode. I love the art style, the OP is especially catchy and the character interactions/development are pretty good.

Me too, and I thought I've watched enough classic anime to know all the books they allude to. Ah well, I guess it just means more to add to my To Watch list.

great episode, really loving everything about this series. The characters, the comedy, the interactions. It's all great. I really like some of the art in this series, has some very different and nice looking moments. Can't really say too much, gotta wait another week for more. 'sigh'

Most understanding lingerie seller ever? I think so. (But you really should try on bras yourself before you buy them! That woman he's buying for is a slacker.)

Holy new eyecatch, Batman!

The end of this episode made me fall in love with Kaya. She's such a sweetheart, and a really neat character besides. It's neat to see someone who's pretty much used to being in a new time period, but still retains her old values -- and not portrayed as foolish or backward because of it.

And then we get cool music, and Jun's all "Why worry about what bad things could happen? Isn't that the point of living?" and I think I love this series.

oh, these little earthquakes

On no site did I find in-depth discussion of this series, like the background songs used. Confirms my feeling that since Zetsubousensei SHAFT is reclaiming anime for a Japanese audience.

I'm beginning to wonder about that salt guy, is he really there? Maybe he's a ghost too, that's why they're ignoring him.

Love the way this episode showed Sayoko and Hajime playing together; first a game of stickball then splashing water and making rainbows.

Speaking of the songs...one of them is a cover of a Yamamoto Linda tune. Bwahaha! I wonder who the mad genius is who put together the collection of songs used in this series. And why songs from 30-40 years ago?

I've become steadily less impressed with each new episode. It started off so well, I really enjoyed the first four or so episodes. Now, I have to say it's becoming boring. It's the drama that's killing it for me, plus I don't really like Jun. Kaya isn't much of an interesting character, either. Hopefully the next episode will be a return to comedy.

Pure comedy gets stale and boring. I like character development.

The background music is awesome

I really liked the line "What good is a love that can be redone?". Not because I agree with it, but that was a really beautiful way to express an ideal I don't share.
