Hey guys, does anyone know the name of the track which is played at the end of some episodes (during the preview of the next, if I'm not mistaken)? It's just like a choir or something, the motive is quite beautiful and ethereal. I wonder if it's just a beatless choir or a full version exists. I couldn't find it in the OST.
I love Kizuato and Sprinter, so much that I tried translating them myself =) Though not part of the Kara no Kyoukai soundtrack, I really like Natsu no Ringo as well. After that, I agree that they are all very good.
I also think it's really cool how each of the Kara no Kyoukai tracks has a deep connection with the plot of the movie. I suppose this will need a spoiler...don't read if you haven't seen Kara no Kyoukai 5.
For example, Kalafina's "Sprinter" contains the same metaphor of fighting to break free from a fate within a vicious cycle like that which is ever present in Mujun Rasen (Paradox Spiral).
I also feel there is definitely some connection between the title of the track and Tomoe's having been on a track team back when he and his family were living happily. He quit running when his family problems worsened and later falls victim to the endless cycle of tragedy that consumed his family when they moved to Araya's twisted apartment complex. After meeting Shiki and learning the reason behind his family's demise, he once again finds the strength to start sprinting again, for the sake of the life that he had before.
Kalafina is an amazing group. I have never been so impressed by an anime soundtrack before. I bought the special edition of "Seventh Heaven" used in Japan, the first music CD I've purchased in years. It came with an awesome Shiki sticker :P
I just want the BGM that sounds like the beginning of Aria. That's my favorite song overall. But for themes, I'm going to have to go for Sprinter. Aria and Oblivious are nice, and indeed more representative of the series, but I still like Sprinter.
