omg... I thought something like: There is no way an ongoing series will be aired on something that is accesible in Slovakia...
I just wanna say: Finally something (alhtough I guess I will still watch it from fansubber until I see the quality and also FMA is something that needs to be archivated)

And Naruto. A while ago it also aired Eva. The DBZ dub kills me every time. It's simply hilarious

I believe so. At least I don't remember them airing all 51 episodes, yet.

Edit: I just went to check and they're halfway done with the first FMA. Last episode aired was 27.

I'd say almost 2/3 of all the posts in this thread are from portuguese people. Heh, this shows how unbelievable this piece of news is for us. ^^

Sic is still airing the first FMA so what the hell? When do they plan to air it? I guess it would make more sense if they aired it on Animax... But whatever, it's not like I'll watch it anyway.

Read somewhere that England was supose to get Animax somewhere between this year and the next, not sure about this.

Oh LOL.

Other than that it's a good initiative. Companies need to realize though that LQ youtube streams will never be able to compete to the HD fansubs. But as others have said, it's great that they realized that there's a market in Europe aswell.

All that's left to see is that if the subs are actually decent...

We got too much, too quickly. A nice idea, sure, airing a new episode of a series every night, but once those series ended, what were they left with? Repeating various series ad nauseum certainly didn't help the popularity, either, especially when they played three episodes each of GiTS and Cowboy Bebop for several months. I think that was Animecentral? With Propeller, they went the smarter route, airing an episode each week.

When they started to air the same things over and over, people obviously lost interest. The channel/segment didn't get as much advertisement as they deserved, either.

And I'm not at all surprised about the MTV Italy thing. They show Gintama there on that channel, or so I've heard.

Wow O.o
We're really getting this in Portugal? Amazing...

The only down is that anime subs here kind of suck and I'm most likely not gonna watch something like youtube stream with doubtful subs when I can have a fansubed version with way more video quality and more reliable subs..

Still, it's good knowing someone thinks this is a good idea...
