| Mars of Destruction is the worst piece of fiction I have ever seen. It doesn't have anything good at all: stupid dialogue (Thank you, doctor, I would never now she was gone forever!), one-dimensional characters (even worse, what personality they had?), plot stupidity (the final twist made no sense)... But it's also the one that made me laugh more. I laughed when that girl died, I laughed when they screamed Takeru, I laughed when Takeru was forced to wear Mars, I laughed when the Ancient said humans were true invaders... So much fun I rated it a 2/10 and not a 1/10. As for the actual anime I disliked the most, Mirai Nikki. It had tons of plot holes, characters acting contradictory, cliche backstorys that didn't explain anything at all, characters acting illogical (the kid...), blatant ripping off (Minene = Revy, Akise = Kaworu)... I could go hours and hours saying how bad Mirai Nikki is so... Also Elfen Lied... It tried so much too be "deep" and "philosophical" it ended just being a gore fest with bland characters. Detective Conan is also pretty horrible, having the main problems shared with MN, except its characters aren't so unlikable. But it tries being "realistic" with its cases that are just... Ugh... Also, it deviates from the plot so much it doesn't even make sense now. |

But the fact is, so many people have taken those rough 20 minutes of Mars to pan it. So if it was indeed the "worst thing ever made", how does it succeed in getting so many people to watch and complete it? It still entertains, which defeats the purpose of it being apparently unwatchable, right? Then! What is the worst anime ever made? Anyone care to list? My vote: Samurai Spirits. For not only being bad but for being boring as well. You should watch ex-arm |
