| What is the most unbearable anime to watch? |
| It was a cross between Melody of Oblivion and the later arcs of Terra E. Maybe the ending of Conqueror of Shamballa, but that wasn't so much painful to watch as it was painful when taken as a whole. |

| The question makes me ponder, what aspect is it that was found 'unbearable'? I have disliked some anime simply as it seems to focused on some feature I just plain don't find entertaining. There's a lot of Ninja something or other stuff out there, and the focus is on gratuitous sums of blood splatter. Hey, blood splatter doesn't amuse me. I've seen some stuff that was just to niche interest. Saw this one series based on very short duration episodes where this girl finds a way to end up hacked/sliced/stabbed or in some fashion mangled/mutilated trying to perform some mundane action. It simply wasn't funny really even though it was an obvious comedy. Hell I ditched Queen's Blade at record setting speed all because I don't really need to see tits that bad that I will tolerate the shittiest subs on the market coupled with realitively bland grade artwork. I suppose I would call ANY anime 'unbearable' if it simply sucks and is a bad way to waste 15-25 minutes. |

| Probably ef - a tale of memories. The directing is so far past overkill that it's actually kind of laughable. The only reason I can come up with for the continous bombardment of various cinematic techniques is to cover up a lack of substance. Unfortunetely for me, this just made an already weak show even worse. |

| Most things that came out before the late 90s. (I just can't watch it.) Anything I dropped during/after the 1st (or so) episode. (This shit doesn't make it on my list.) Anything that drags the story on super slowly just to add to the episode count (or something like that). Anything horribly repetative (just to add to the episode count or something like that). Anything I rated a 5 or lower. .hack//Roots because it's the only anime I've rated a 1. |
