I don't see the point of posting these lists if the posts just end up with 100+ EWW NARUTO comments :/

Seeing Furuba so high on the list makes me wonder how TP will manage after the last volume~

to me, i see the list like this:

1. naruto (all the fucking volumes that made the list)
2. chibi vampire 13
3. Furuba 22
4. vampire knight 6
5-10. they were damn lazy to put them here.

This is perhaps an accurate analysis of the list. Naruto appears on the list so many times not simply because of its popularity, but also, the fact that Viz publishes several volumes per month. Given those two together, Naruto whould naturally capture the top of the list, given its imaginable sales volume. The other titles, even as popular as they may or may not be, certainly do not release more than one volume per month. Thus, Naruto will always 'win' given this sales strategy.

Chibi Vampire is awfully high there o.o I didn't realize it was that popular.

naruto is popular as ever
the only way to stop a gamer from playing is either: beat them, or wait until they get bored (though 2% percent suffer seizures

At some point everyone will buy up all the current volumes of Naruto and other things can make it onto the list. Things like Fruits Basket, Chibi Vampire, and Vampire Knight? Oh boy!

@the_seventh_l it's because Naruto sucks ass(or is only a 4 in a scale of 1 to 10)n it's wild popularly is somewhat dumbfounding to me. vis really knows how to market shit to kids i guess. the part that get's me is the really great manga does not ever make the top 15.
to little to late.

Because Bleach is so much better.

Masashi Kishimoto must be swimming in a pool of money right now, I feel bad for his brother.

Because Twilight fangirls think anything with "vampires" is like Twilight. Fails.

Naruto is popular because it's advertised like craaaaaaazy here. It's probably something everyone knows about, though not by name. It's okay, but not "OMG EPIC MUST BUY EVERY VOLUME" status. I'm guessing the people who are currently buying all these new volumes of Naruto have never even heard of scanlations and such.

Maybe it was a little mean, but I wonder if they're selling anything other besides Naruto....
