Let's see...in no particular order, I'll go for....

- Demetori - Kid's festival ~ Innocent treasures ~

- Children of Bodom - Kissing the shadows

- Racer X - Technical difficulties (it pretty much is one big solo O.o )

- Dimmu Borgir - Succubus in rapture

- Demetori - Septette for the dead princess

- Jimmy hendrix - All along the watchtower

- Michael Jackson - Give in to me (it just sounds nice in my ears :3 )

- Opeth - The funeral portrait

These are some solo's I really like.
I also think 'Marl - South of heaven has some nice solo's in his suite
and I'm ofcourse a fan of Andy Mckee

The solo on SYL's Far Beyond Metal is not only the best part of the song, but also absolutely mindblowing.

2nd'ed. Dream Theater is freaking amazing, and that's one of Petrucci's absolute best solos.

Aww, there's so many to name. Couldn't I get by just with naming Guitarists? lol. Eh, missing a few and some are probably already said, but oh well...

Megadeth - Tornado of Souls, Lucretia, Holy Wars... The Punishment Due
And pretty much any of Marty Friedman's (their guitarist on the album which has all the above songs) solo songs. They're mostly all instrumental, but also pretty much freaking amazing. Supposedly, he's actually quite a hit with the J-Pop scene these days. (He's not with Megadeth anymore)

Dream Theater - Learning to Live, Scarred, Octavarium, The Spirit Carries On
I'm more a fan of Petrucci's emotional solos - not to say I don't like his creative and technical solos, but his expressive solos are just crazy powerful.

Pink Floyd - Echoes, Time, Money, Careful With that Axe Eugene, Hey You, Comfortably Numb, etc...
Don't need to get into how good David Gilmour is.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Stadium Arcadium, Hey, Can't Stop, Scar Tissue, Californication...
John Frusciante's actually pretty underrated, he doesn't have that many jaw-dropping solos in terms of technicality, although he does have some pretty expressive solos on par with Gilmour's, very melodic, and comes up with generally awesome riffs anyways. Extensive solo and side project work, too, that fails to disappoint.

I know I'm forgetting something, but I should probably stop there; pretty much my favorite guitarists anyways. I could go on and on with more popular guitarists like Hendrix, Santana, Page, Lennon, Jonny Greenwood, Synyster Gates, Matthew Bellamy, etc... and less popular but still amazing ones like Akerfeldt, Steven Wilson, Satriani, Jun Senoue, etc... but I'd carry on for too long.

Reflection by Tool, played by Adam Jones.
"Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be the one.
Born to bear and read to all
The details of our ending.
To write it down for all the world to see.
But I forgot my pen,
Shit the bed again,
Typical."

You know your stuff! definitively don't need to question how godly Gilmour is in fact.

Both solos of Return to Serenity by Testament.

Throw Down the Sword by Wishbone Ash has probably the most wonderful solo I've ever heard.
