I'd play too, but I'm against the idea of ESPN leagues.

Rather, I propose we play in a stock-based league (e.g. SportingNews) since the learning curve is much easier.
This way, even first-timers can join in the fun quickly.

we play on yahoo, so that wouldnt be a problem ;) or do you mean manager-type leagues in general?

stock-based... is that a league where there is a cap, and you pick a starting lineup to fit into that cap? i prefer a manager style so each player wont be on multiple teams. plus i also like the trading/picking people off waivers kind of thing. i guess its just peoples preferences. i do hope you do come to join our yahoo league though

I talking about leagues where you don't have to facilitate trades in order to acquire a certain player (someone you didn't draft or someone who isn't a FA).

SportingNews is an example of this because anyone can trade for the player as long as he/she has enough payroll to sign the player.
