They didn't know the gang will be their acquaintance, so that doesn't explain anything, and if you're saying that Ryosuke and Keisuke were baddie in the past, that doesn't seem to be the case, since Ryosuke doesn't seem like the type that resort to violence, and even Keisuke wouldn't get out of that unharmed, so..

So Keisuke actually was a leader of a gang in his younger days before picking up street racing haha.

Good to see the oil being that scumbag's downfall in the end though I believe Takumi would have won either way.

Damn, all that build-up for nothing...I found that pretty lame tbh :/

So much for the last battle for Saitama... these episodes sucked.

Haha I was thinking that would happen for a reason, like hey when they'll see each other they'll be like, oh what's up?

Pretty damn fun ending in general, and as expected a easy victory!

Good job with now controlling the whole area! I do wonder what will happen next though!

Great episode. Didn't expect Keisuke to know those gang members. That part was really funny, especially with how those scared those jerks were after they knew they screwed up.

Yep totally expect that
Especially when there's dramatic walking scene, that was so anime-like
Thanks for the laugh, that was satisfying to see those arrogant guys trembling xD

I think everyone saw that coming, it just emphasizes how much of a badass Keisuke is.

This episode was fantastic. The first episodes of this season were kinda repetetive and not as exciting as the previous seasons, but the past few episodes left a really satisfying impression and I really hope they keep it up.

That buildup though. XD

I so wanted to see those 3 scumbags get beat up.

This episode was really satisfying, especially because I wasn't expecting to get anything good out of it.

First, Takumi would've won anyways, but the moment in which he passed that guy was the one in which that lowlife couldn't properly control his car because of the leftover oil he decided to spread with the other lowlifes, that's karma for ya. And then the threat was serious, they called a gang to beat them up, but how cool is Keisuke? For a moment I thought that things would get ugly, but Keisuke was the boss of that boss in the past; Ryousuke, Takumi, and the others couldn't have a better bodyguard. Keisuke is really a badass, and to think that an extra, and Wataru can only see him as a "spoiled rich brat", that's what prejudice does to you, it makes you look stupid.

But well, those lowlifes were trembling and breaking in a cold sweat, it was indeed satisfying, and Takumi even regained a bit of his confidence going agaisnt that evo, he realized that he lost like that to his father, and not (only) to his new car.

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE!

Karma was an oily bitch to that Lan Evo.

Loyalty to one's prefecture overcame the local racer'ss dirty tactics.

Kenta's face when Keisuke called the gang leader his little brother lol.

Takumi's skill level is becoming insanely high, no one can top him at this point. I like how their oil backfired at them, hahaha. Well, that was dangerous, so stuff like that can get out of hand like that, really really dangerous, I felt so nervous.

I was half-expecting Keisuke to bash the gang members' heads in, but reality was even more satisfying, surprisingly. The gang leader was quite reasonable - no wonder considering his bond with Keisuke.

Takumi overtaking his enemy looked epic! I really liked the song using during that moment.

I didn't expect Keisuke to be in a gang in his past. Interesting.

Anyway, those cheaters got what they deserve. ;p

It’s really unsatisfying to see those 3 a-holes get away with everything they did. I understand this isn’t a violent anime but it still would’ve been badass to see them get their asses beat to a pulp. Looks like the only thing that happened was a little scare.
On another note, I really hope something happens between the rotary couple haha. Knowing the writers though, it’ll probably be another failed attempt at romance.

Fuck yeah, that bastard got his due piece of karma pie and Takumi managed to almost effortlessly wipe the floor with his ass. Love to see it.

Also, I'm ashamed to be one of the few that totally didn't see that twist coming lol. Kei is still a such a fucking badass, the way he just confidently went into that mess alone and protecting the others, ready to fuck shit up all the while risking getting fucked himself is just so damn cool otherwise. I swear, I just can't get enough of the Takahashi brothers.

Can't lie and say I didn't want to see some heads get bashed in even a little, though, lmao.

I think they did get bashed in, or it's implied, after Project D left. The leader of the gang told them that they'll get what they deserve "in a bit", obviously saying that after Keisuke left he'd show them what he meant ;)

I knew something was up when they kept flashing back and forth, but I thought perhaps Keisuke and Ryouske had intercepted them earlier somehow and paid them off or something, but this is even better!

Takumi definitely is pushing out of this rut, which is cool, would be dope if in this series at the end or in the next one he gets the courage to race his father, haha.

I was actually expecting to see some blood and punches, I mean come on guys! It's called street racing! I want to see a bit more danger and thugs! Like that guy with the gum tape death match, so yeah that was a bit anticlimactic, but still cool for Keisuke, I have gotten to respect him a lot more this season.
