| I got 2 basses that have been sitting around for over a year now, I know how to play but I could use a refresher. I wouldn't say it's inspired me to learn but it's been making me think about breaking out a bass and learning some new stuff. |
| BECK had me started. I bought myself an Acoustic and started out, but then...I couldn't get the hang of it. And so, I left my Acoustic in its case and the case was left to rot. However, seeing Yui and Mio, Mio especially, play and make it seem so easy, I might go and wipe the dust off and start playing once more. I sucked, but who knows, maybe those endless hours of playing Rock Band 2 would pay off. |
| well, i have a crap guitar from a junk yard a long time ago. never planned to learn how to play it. Maybe if i watch more K-ON! i might wanna get to play the bass. :/ |

| well, I was previously a member of band late last year but I kinda got busy with school work so I had to quit. After I watched K-on (specifically, the ED)~ I suddenly got the urge to pick up my instruments again :3. |
| I've only owned a guitar...and that has a broken string right now. I never really bothered to learn much, but seeing stuff like this really makes me wish I put more work into it. Same with piano, but I never owned one of those growing up. |

| I definitely already have a Bass, and I play. I kinda need a new one though. The one I have now is a standard black Fender Starcaster(the ones with the pointy-ish headstock that looks like this) with a standard white pick guard. Her name is Mihoshi, and she's kinda old. And Mio playing Bass just makes her better. |

| As much as I love Mio, I don't think my dream instrument is a J-Bass at all. In fact, I think it's a white MusicMan StingRay(4-string) with a black tortoiseshell pick guard. Either that, or a Rickenbacker 4001 of some kind, preferably blue. Although if I ever get a J-Bass, and probably if I get a new bass guitar at all, I'm gonna name it after Mio. By the way, points if you know what the blue Rick 4001 is from. More points if you know what the StingRay is from. |

| after watching K-ON i get the same feeling like after watching Beck... i needed to take my guitar and learn how to play it! Well I have my Guitar since nearly 3 years now and never realy started to practice intesively. But only after watching Beck i practiced for some weeks in the holidays and get better. Then school started and i get lazy again -_- ... well now i have got only to do my final exams and after them i have no school anymore ^^ and will start practiceing again for the 2nd or 3rd time. Gave my guitar allready a name... right after i bought it lol xD but never practiced -_- |

| I've been playing electric guitar for a while, and I'm not a big fan of LP's so K-ON! really didn't do much for me in that field. BUT I have been getting these urges to pick up bass. I suppress them though...better to focus and excel in guitar first. Its just a fleeting obsession (like when I watched BECK and wanted a White Falcon) |

| Despite having less strings, bass isn't necessarily easier than guitar. Similar, but not necessarily easier. They're played differently, they have different styles and different methods....all kinds of stuff. In my experience, it's all about picking one of them up and deciding which one feels better to you. And yes, Guitar Hero is awesome. XD |

The bassist in Beck was amazing. Like, a lot. Taira Yoshiyuki for much win. Personally, I recommend Beck to anyone who likes K-ON!(for more than the massive quantities of moe, and even then, go watch it). |

Though I like K-ON!, Beck truly told the story of a kid learning guitar and playing in a band, eventually making it big. For a musician it was very satisfying when Yukio performs at Greatful Sound. I'd say Beck is a much better inspiration to start playing, but if K-ON! gets you started and you continue, its all fine by me. |

| I started charting Don't say "lazy" in GH: World Tour a while back, but stalled after I got the bass part done. That's all that matters, right? Yeah, I play the plastic guitar. lol. I'd love to try the real thing but don't have the money for a guitar at the moment. I think I could get an acoustic easily (my mom has one she doesn't really use). I put some effort into learning banjo when I was younger, but banjo is weird. I'm more of a keyboard instrument player anyway, having started on piano and played xylophone in marching band for four years. Between piano and xylophone I played pretty much everything else in school band at one point or another. Keyboard-style instruments and other percussion instruments have always been the most fun for me to play though. |
