| So I'm a huge fan of the manga Qwan. I love the artwork, the characters, the story, everything! However, I've waited years to get the next volume, but to no avail. Does anyone know why it's taking so long for the US to get volumes 5 and up? Are they even going to finish the series, or is this going the way of Zombie Powder and being put on indefinite hiatus? I'm hoping it's not the latter. :( p.s. If they already put out volumes 5, 6, and 7, does anyone know where to find them? I've looked everywhere I can think of and so far have only found one trace of a volume 5- in French. >< |

| I know right? I've been waiting for volume 5 for ages. I can't believe no one has scanlated the rest of the volumes, although I am actually willing to buy them still (I have 1-4) |

I really want to buy them too because I always love flipping through the actual books rather than clicking a button and squinting my eyes at a screen. >< I hoping to read volume 4 soon but I feel its a waste putting all that effort into reading them if the story isn't going to be finished. I've email asking about volume 5 but I probably not going to get the answer I want. I also prefer reading the actual books than looking at the screen. |

Well my local library doesn't have it so i'll have to order it which means I may not beable to read it for another month. Edit: I just got an email from Tokyopop and here's what they have to say: Qwan for now is stopped at v4 . Looking at the release date for v5 on our system here at TOKYOPOP the date its been given is far off in the future (were talking 40+ years) this usually means the series has been cancelled or suspended at the very least . There is no mention of any volumes at all after that coming . Sorry it’s a negative answer but at least you know the answer now . |

| I remember reading this manga at my school library as a kid, and today I randomly searched online to buy the volumes so I could actually sit down and properly read the whole series. Now I'm honestly depressed to find out 11 years later that it'll probably never be finished in English. A damn shame. I wonder why the series was dropped by Tokyopop, maybe it didn't sell well enough? Edit: actually, it might have something to do with this: https://www.comicsbeat.com/end-of-an-era-tokyopop-shutting-down/ |
