| ah.. i went a few weeks when i went to new york over the summer its been a week actually, because my computer wasnt working i could read manga on another computer but not watch anime (sound) so atm im more interested in reading manga xP |

| It depends on a lot! I've been without both anime and manga for the last half year or so, cause I havent really felt like watching or reading it. But before that part in my life (or whatever ya know ^_^), I had to watch anime every day. I even ditched school just to watch it all day long D: But now, I guess I can do a week or so without watching anything. |

| I think if I had other things to occupy my time (books, games, TV, etc.) I could go a few months without anime. Not that I've ever tried. Actually, it'd be pretty hard for me to go without anime for more than a week. My boyfriend and I both attend and are heavily involved in the planning and organization of our local university anime club so it'd be really weird if I suddenly stopped going. |

| There are lots of things out there to do, just that I decide to use some of that time to watch anime. If anime were to disappear from the face of the earth it's not like it's end of the world for me.... Realistically speaking though probably a semester or two depending on what is occupying me at the particular time. |

| If I stopped watching anime, I would go into a deep and depressing boring state, so there's no way I could give up on anime =P But I think I could not watch it for a couple of days. |

| Bah. I watch anime daily. I can go through the whole day without watching anime, but I have to watch anime while I'm falling asleep. It's a habit I've had since I don't even know when. If I don't I'll stay up until I knock out from exhaustion. You could say it's pretty much my lullaby. If I'd had to guess though... I'd say I could take a few months without anime. |

| Probably a few months. I don't need to watch anime all the time. I usually only watch like 2 or 3 episodes a week if it's on TV or fansubs anyway. |

| I can easily go months without watching anime, and would probably be just fine if I never watched any from this day on, but what's the point in that? I watch things when I want to - sometimes I'll be preoccupied with other pastimes - drinking with friends, playing video games, work, watching movies, reading, whatever - and I won't watch anime for months on end, but I always come back to it eventually because it's something I enjoy. So I wouldn't make a conscious choice to give it up for any longer than I had a good reason to. |

| Easily months on end. Anime isn't such a big part of my life that I'll go crazy without watching it everyday (unlike music). If I really wanted to I could go cold turkey right now on it, but as Krelian said whats the fun in that? True, I watch anime everyday right now but thats because I have a lot of free time on my hands (currently unemployed and my class work takes roughly 1-2 hours to do so I've got like 8-9 hours of free time right now and gaming just isn't fun right now so I use anime to fill up that free time). Plus I do get preoccupied from time to time doing other past times so it's quite easy to go without watching anime (heck, if I had a good book to read right now I'd stop watching anime till I finished reading the book). I'll eventually end back up on my 1-2 days a week watching schedule again once I get a job (and really I wish it was right now, would rather be working then watching anime all the time). |

Don't forget a transformer, though - they have a different electricity system in Europe. Personally, if it's anime-related things, probably only a week or two. If it's anime itself as in the act of watching it, I could technically go on forever now until Shana season 3. Actually, I'm anime deprived at the moment - running Saimoe while in college is really taking a toll on free time... |
