How is this different from History's strongest Disciple Kenichi?

I read the synopsis of both and they seem to be almost the same thing, except for the fact that Miu goes to school with Kenichi in the other one. Why would the mangaka make two series that are almost the same.

I've read that In this story Kenichi has a more violent personnality, he his more peaceful in the other manga.

The author had to change a few things in his story in order to be published in the weekly Shonen Sunday.
