Yes it's all part of the same night, which included Yugi vs Bakura, Yugi vs Player Killer, and now Jounouchi vs Kaiba. I just realized how redundant Kaiba's duel disk system was in the anime. In the manga he planned to use it so he could challenge Pegasus and put distance between them because he thought that Pegasus had a range limit to his mind reading powers, which makes more sense in the manga since normal duels are played on tables during this arc. But the anime uses those giant duel arenas, which put duelists far away from each other and make the duel disk's distance gimmick pretty much pointless. |
