| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Yes, that's how you steal [on] the Bloomers! Excellent mindgames in the last third of this episode, Tokuchi's batting is always interesting, but that was a kewler way of exploiting the fake knuckle than I could concieve. Saw the first one coming, but the second came from out of nowhere. It seems Tokuchi may be able to steal home like this, though I doubt it'll be that easy. I predict extra innings. Also, Williams says "What?" "What?" (mandatory hilarious fake English ftw) |

| Nice to see Tokuchi again after weeks of no subs. He's now totally playing around with the batter. It's nice to be in a situation where you win either way. We'll probably see yet another problem to finish this next episode, probably big enough to cover at least 1,5 episodes, and then I'll be waiting for a second season. | This was a really good episode. The forced comedy was on point, and finally there was some significant "drama" around what was going on in the game itself, and not just speculation on the side lines. But I didn't really care for the lame backstory of the coach. |

| There was me thinking a month wait would kill my enthusiasm for this anime. What I fool I was to underestimate the power of Tokuchi. When I copped on to the fact that the battery couldn't throw the fake ball I roared with laughter. Damn, I hope B2E sub the next episodes soon enough. |

| Wow get rekt Williams! Toua used the fake knuckleball to turn the tables on him! Ingenious! Williams's engrish was awesome. "WAT?" At first I didn't understand how Tokuchi hit the knuckleball then I realized he never hit it at all and just took advantage of the catcher's inability to catch the fake knuckleball and pretended to hit it. Awesome episode. My favorite episode in quite awhile. I'm really curious what the owner plans to do. 9/10 |

| His best shot here would be if the pitcher tries to pick him off . . . The outfielder would totally screw up tossing the ball and that would pretty much be a run for him. Although if they swung the bat randomly at the knuckle ball there is the potential they could get an inside the park home-run no problem . . . |

| Cheaters got owned, they're forced to not throw the ball, they'll be found out otherwise. At the same time ... people are becoming aware he's purposely not throwing balls, there has to be a reason for that - maybe that's what Tokuchi's trying to do, make it clear to the world (or at least Japan) that they're cheating. Cool episode though, battle of wits. |
