HOLY FUCKING CRAP
I loved the storytelling, the slow mo, the story of the 10 000 punch, the music, I fucking loved this episode. I know the narration isn't conventional but I think it was pivotal and necessary in making 30 minutes about 10 seconds as intense and epic as it was. This didn't feel like a naruto episode, it felt like art.
My favourite episode so far.
Shit is hitting the fan at an alarming rate and I'm loving it. So Zeno was who Netero went see way back when. Seeing how good Netero is I doubt Ging will be able to top him. One of the best episodes of the whole series.
Eh why was this thread so crowded, usually there wouldn't be more than 3 to 5 pages-ish?
(Too lazy to skim through all lel)
kelvy-kun said: That was pretty anti-hype for me. All this talk and hype-building for Netero's power and it ended up doing no physical damage to Pitou lol. Lame
Was that intentional though? That being not a killing attack?
I could see the effort to make this epic from the cinematography style they use. It was quite good, yes, but the transition on which they suddenly interview Killua's grandpa bothered me a bit though. Seemed a bit too off.
Not really a big fan of this episode. Granted, it was nice to hear about Netero's past, but that would have been nice earlier in the show, not when everyone is waiting for the battle(s) to start. Not to mention that telling the history of a character at this point in a story usually raises a pretty massive death flag.
So Zeno is in this fight as well! His power is so cool and so is Netero's! I wonder how Netero is able to live that long lol
The moment the attack began everything is so tense!!! Seeing Netero's power gave me hope for the first time that maybe they'll be able to defeat the guards (and the king) >__< Though oddly enough I feel like Nevern won't come out of this unscathed (as I was spoiled with the name of the next arc......)
Hopefully Youpi being there won't disrupt their plan... It felt so satisfying to see that look on Pitou after Netero's attack lol, for once not the usual smug face
If you see that my post is exactly 1 month old (or more) from when it was posted... Don't waste your time, especially when you want to reply with something petty & insignificant. Assume that I've moved on (because I have).
This has been the best set up in any anime series. The buildup was phenomenal. The execution of Zeno's dragon nen was flawless and deadly. Netero's 10,000 gratitude punches were godly. He's really op asf.
Best series hands down. I give up. I bow down in honor.
