| Okay, Have to say really Interesting start. First I tough when i read series preview that Magi, was going to be not that kind or not cruel either, but somewhat Strict and make Chise to be some what servant. Tough this was quite somewhat pleasant surprise. Art and drawing looks very great and story are started nice. And Chise's Face in the end of the Chapter...!!! XD Lol, I broke in laughter when I saw her reaction on the last reason Ellias gave....it was funny. Good Lesson have to agree, even if it looks kind, in Fantasy World, many things are not what they seem, that is KNOWN FACT, even if you don't see it mentioned much in manga, movies or books |

| Just started this manga having seen such positive reviews. The starting initially confused me as I didn't realise Chise was up for sale! So we have Elias who is a sorcerer, who purchased Chise with the intent to make her his apprentice. We got a brief backstory from Chise of how her father left her, her mother committed suicide and how she moved around a fair bit from family to family. Elias calling her family and seeing her remember that moment when with the fairies was quite sweet. The bath scene made me smile and the entire 'good night story' and Elias' 'experience building' was really heart-warming. Ending definitely came as a shocker; he wants her as his bride?! Looking forward to see where the story will go. It looks very promising so far. Art is gorgeous too; I can't wait for it to be animated now. |
| This first chapter was interesting and full of mysteries, because there are strange elements how magic, sorcerer, a strange man with a lamb-head, fairies and Slay Vega ( i don´t know what mean xD) girl... It has the elements to be some cool, but i need the next chapters to know how to evolve!!! |
| decided to start reading this while waiting for s2 p2 to finish. kind of hilarious that only after finishing s2 p1 i realized that i had multiple volumes of this manga in my shelf :D didnt know it was mahoyome because the name was translated to finnish "Velhon Morsian" when ive been calling it just mahoyome |
