Hanamonogatari is just an arc about Kanbaru. It's like the other arcs in Monogatari Second Season. It's not a sequel to Monogatari Second Season, it's part of it.

Now it makes sense why it's 5 episodes, I didn't think of that. Thanks for that, can't wait to get some more Kanbaru.

but what about the gap in Tsubassa tiger arc ? - basicly when Koyomi is gone (that is actualy shown in Onimonogatari) In middle of Tsubasa Tiger there is that thing with Koyomi asking Kanbaru to help him at old cram school - jsut before it was burned down. We never saw what happened then - or how Koyomi repaid his debt to Gean.
I thought than nadeko story happens in the same time becouse of that but you sayt i tis later. Another hole in the story is why Shinobu is separated from koyomi in tsubasa Tiger as well.

Since Hanamonogatari is focused arround Knabaru I though it gona depicture that gap in the Tsubasa Tiger story - but you say it goes past Koimonogatari.
So this gap will be pictured in Monogatari 3rd season ? Or omited forever ?
