| Black Lagoon - some pretty dark past hinted, also I'm not sure in which season exactly if you go with the anime version. Fate/Zero - dark pasts for almost everyone. Shingeki no Kyojin - dark pasts for both main characters (even darker for the female MC), male MC is seen as a monster. Oh, I see you are reading the manga already. Claymore manga for a dark past (no idea about the anime), also monstrosities emerge regularly there. Dorohedoro manga for dark pasts and monster reputations. Not to mention it's super-awesome. |
