Am I the only one who thinks this is an underrated anime?

I mean I agree that first season wasn't anything amazing, but the second season was one the best sequels I have seen for anime. It fills most questions that you might have had from the first season, and in addition add a very interesting story with great background information about the characters which make them THAT much more likable.

I agree! Season 1 wasn't that bad, but combined with this season 2 really makes this anime a great sci-fi themed anime.

Yes! Episode one struggled to find its footing but found it about halfway through (the serial killer marionette episode was directing genius), but the second season is just amazing as a whole. It took season one's conclusion, built upon it and introduced new concepts and characters that fit into the story amazingly. If any show deserves more seasons, it's this one.

Maybe the score was lower when this thread was made, but the mean score is a 7.78, that's hardly a low score. Also whining about scores is entirely pointless. You can't expect everyone to give 9 or 10s just because you really like something. Some people are bound not like something as much as you did, and there isn't anything wrong with that.

I do too very underrated
Specially the fact only 23.000 People on my anime have watched it… I mean it’s 15 years old
But their are other anime from the 2000s where 200.000-800.000 people have watched it…
Its mind boggling… and yes sci fi may not be as popular as it once was

But its just sad this deserves more….
