That was beautiful, so simple and beautiful. 8/10. I want to fly an airplane someday though ;.;

I have mixed feelings about the ending. On one hand, it was your typical Ashinano story and I liked it because of that, but I would have liked a bit of clearance on that whole

???

I don't know how I feel about this. It undermines a lot Isaki's growth and relationships with the other characters. A fantastic manga nonetheless, but this doesn't really leave me satisfied.

I honestly dont get the ending. Was it all just a dream he had? Or Memory-wipe?
Could someone please explain it to me?
And how can Kajika be his big sister when shes only in elementary school?

Well, re-reading some parts, there was a bit of foresight about the ending, the most obvious hints of it being in chapters 36, 37 and 41. I guess Ashinano just got cancelled without having time to develop that plot line, so it didn't totally undermined whatever he was trying to accomplish story-wise. It might get better with time and a few re-reads, just like YKK.

I felt the ending was rushed. It didn't seem to close at all.

I don't get it. The hell just happened in the last chapter? I can't say I'm satisfied with the ending.

Still a pretty fantastic slice of life. Excellent atmosphere, and a nice world that you can get sucked into very easily. 7/10 from me

YES PLS! SOMEONE! WTF?!?!? I absolutely did not understand this what-so-ever (and no I'm not a retard) and I cant find an explanation ANYWHERE
1) we see its a Si Fi on a different planet, so wtf happened in the last chapter when it came back to our world?
2) all that mysterious shit with no-one caring about mount fuji and the shit that happened on the summit. pls someone explain what all that was.
3) this chapter, wtf happened? is it all a dream (thats pretty disappointing if it was)? is it some sort of matrix world? how the fuck can that his be his big sister, - this is explained if its some sort of alternate world - and when he sees the squinty-eyed girl at the end and doesn't recognize her, what does that mean?
someone please give me a very detailed explanation of everything that's going on... (or A place I can find one) - and pls don't give me the "its up to the reader to decide" that's just shit writing.

thanks

Well, an ending equally satisfying and frustating..
The unexplained things, unlike YKK, actually hampered my overall perception of the manga.
Still, a good manga with a wonderful atmosphere to boot.
7/10.

I think the ending is fine! It gives that Ashinano feeling like Artsy said. Although I do want to know more about the...other...Shiro.

What a terrible ending to an otherwise great manga.

Well, I feel sick now. Worst manga I read this year thank you very much.

So it really was a dream land and the cub is a metaphor. Still a fantastic read.

Definitely enjoyed the ride more than the ending, with it feeling a bit out of nowhere too. Besides that, it was a nice adventure, very relaxing and with a lot of charm.

To me it's something like a simulation. With Kajika's wish, they let Isaki have a taste of an adventure to further develop which what he needs to continue on journey. They let him see what the world is really like, that it's ten times bigger (than what?). I'll probably reread this again when I'm sure I can understand this better.

I'm not going to rate this manga since I have yet to truly appreciate this work.

Was good, but the last two chapters kind of messed it up imo

I think it's good, 8/10 for me.

But the ending looks like it was axed ;_;
