| Troubles are definitely brewing. Tension is in the air even though the festival went ahead - I am not sure about "relaxing" when I saw the meeting with the Senate (genroukai) for example. One thing I particularly love is how the local god says about human: they would despise, curse, vent anger and belittle the gods but when they want help they would just come back to their gods to plead for help... I am not sure how the stamp rally works though. Seems like the staff could leave some stations unmanned and took leave? What if some people came to the station and wanted their cards stamped? |
| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

| Nice ep. Loved the conversation with the elders. It's really difficult to solve this problem. Let's see what they decide to do. But DAMN Akina's rage moment was so EPIC!! Blew a hole in the ground XD Just love it when his hair grows in an instant like that! BA! Also loved how he pulled Hime to him while announcing he'll make this world 120% <3 Well, finally the Hunter's have been mentioned. Some awesome battles are up ahead. Can't wait :D |

| Shinozuka :) Everyone's so forgiving. This was quite a relaxing episode for the most part, until the council pissed Akina off. I would be too, if someone kept forcing their plans and ideas on me without trying to reach some sort of consensus. I had a feeling when Akina told Hime to be careful and not go on a rage, he would be the one to do so instead. That power is intense. |

| A good episode, there wasn't as much combat which made it feel more relaxed. I can also see the point that the elder is getting at. Just a thought though, Akina tuned that land, does that mean it'll end up on the demon side. |

| Holy shit akina losing his cool was awesome, Hope to see more of that before the anime ends. Seriously tho how did they manage to get the sound effects in this show to be so amazing?! I've not been interested enough to actually listen to sound effects in an anime/show for years but there's just something about them in this like the one played through the "akina-smash" scene. This has got to be one of my favourite animes from this season. - Written by guy who just enjoys an anime for what it is instead of critiquing it like it's a piece of invaluable art. |

| By the looks of the next ep preview they are skipping Re-doing Hoshi no umi arc(which I dont blame them for doing that) If you haven't yet and are watching this series now, go Watch Hoshi no umi now, cause by the looks of the the next episode is gonna skip right into the Hana no uta arc soon. |

| Aww, this episode was really cute. Shinozuka going on the pillar tour with his lil card around his neck and getting his stamps was really adorable. The mayor guy he works for is turning out to be a total sweetie too. |

They may show part of it in episode 10 though, or possibly rearrange and give it a full episode (we can hope, right?), but more than likely, they'll instead stick in a couple solo chapters and partials like they've been doing ever since the ova. |

| Yeah, they are diving into 6/1 in the next episode which will be 2 episodes at the most because it is a really short arc, but it would seem they skipped Walking Pilgrimage, so my hopes are that we get more seasons and Walking Pilgrimage is put in there at some point. Thankfully it is just a backstory arc for the Earth Gods and Mariabelle, so they can just do it whenever (provided they DO show it in a later season potentially). I'm glad the director has shown this much passion for the series so far by releasing the 2 OVA series and this reimagining of the first few arcs, I love it. Hell, I might even import the Blu-Rays to show support, I really like the series and am so thankful it has gotten another chance. Hoping for more in store! |
| Yozakura Quartet has definitely been the surprise package for me this season. I didn't expect much when it first came out and now it is arguably my favorite series of the winter season. I really hope it gets another season. It looks like they should have enough material for a second season at least. |

| Is it just me or did the animation quality drop on this episode? Maybe it's just my imagination... Hehe, I was waiting this episode so much ^^ Akina was so cool when he snapped ;D Edit: I find it hard to believe they'd redo the Hoshi no Umi - part, because so little has basically changed in the animation style and everything... my best bet is that they'll just continue from where Hoshi no Umi left, and I hope I'm right :) It wouldn't make sense for them to redo the already well made arc o.O |

| 3/5 Could be better managed narrative, reflexive, but also a little boring. If they had put a little more intrigue and more graceful designs, the formula could put up a better effect! For me, the episode may also be promoted, but just by a hair! |

| Mmm, so our group have to work against two faction : one that have power in politics and one that have power in strenght. That will be no easy job. The only one that could say if the other world is 100% good for the yokai is Enjin, but I don't think he's willing to talk... I didn't understood that the blond headed guy was from another city. He have been forgiven. It was also cute to see the old man with Kohime, even if it's a bit weird that he got forgiven so easily. I mean, he was pretty muc planning a coup d'État. Awwn, sad Hime is sad :( It was hilarious to see her mad at the middle of the episode. Tsun tsun tsundere tsun tsun... :P And angry Akina is badass. |

| -Mina and Kana are back -And the first thing they do is run into Shinozuka -I don't know exactly what it is, but this show is so calming during its calm scenes, like the scene between Shinozuka and Ao at the beginning -Although, Ao's optimism in that scene was the really sugary icing on the cake of calmness -Huh, so they actually explicitly drew attention to the fact that Hime was the only one with the ramen passport. I kinda liked it better when it was a subtle thing but whatever -Somehow the scene where Hime and Akina made up, combined with the background music, was incredibly heartwarming because of how simple it was -It also helped that Hime's too humble to recognize her own efforts -Pretty much every scene that Kohime is in is always so goddamn adorable -Some new developments with the 7 pillar bloom and the introduction of a youkai specialist team in the second half of the episode -Akina's response to the percentages analogy was pretty great and pretty fitting for his character With this episode and the last one, it would seem that the show has returned to how it was in the first two episodes, which I thought were pretty amazing. Just about every single scene from the first part of the episode was amazing, and the second half of the episode was a bunch of plot development that also brought with is some memorable moments. The first few episodes of this show had tons of charm, and these past two episodes are bringing it back pretty nicely. |
