| Can the PC Master Race STFU? Why are you swarming every console thread to say "hur hur cnsoles hav no AA they ran @ 720p OMG OMG" Well its not so apparent on MAL, but it is on other sites like Kotaku Also most of you seem to dont know anything about hardware at all Consoles have closed architecture; that means the games are much better optimised So a PC with the same hardware as a console cant even hope to compare to it PS3 runs on 512MB RAM and on a 7700GT And it runs games like TLOU Can a PC with the same hardware do it? Hell NO Also for ME consoles have muuuuchh better exclusives The only great PC exclusives i played this gen is Titan Quest and Shogun 2 So yeah, I consider my Ps3($300) to be a better gaming machine than my PC($1200+) because i value games more than graphics Though a problem with consoles now is the online fee, $50 Anyways, to each his own |

Hell NO <snip> To be perfectly fair, console games on xbox360 and PS3 tend to target 30fps (they tend to not even do a good job of that to be honest, in general), lack anti-aliasing and other filtering techniques, crank down effects, and upscale. The most important thing in terms of performance isn't your hardware necessarily, it is what you choose to target and the optimization effort you put into targets. Crappy ports will run poor regardless of how good the hardware is. Good ports will run well on the hardware. It is true that a single hardware profile does make it easier on developers though to do effective optimization. |

Systems define themselves over games and the consoles have very good exclusively titles. Therefore, I will play furthermore console. |

You will surely save money if you play online because the online fee is $50 on consoles so in 6 years you will have spent 300 for online, which totals for $700 for the console but still, im gonna buy a ps4 aswell because of the exclusives, mainly for MGS and FF EDIT: Also how can you make a PC comparable to PS4 with only $600? If you "value games more than graphics", then why spend $1200 on a PC? 1. A PC is not only for games 2. I had the money I can now see how you ended up spending over $1200 on your PC... | Xbox One without Kinect at June 2014 399$ Lol, "Kinect is a basic component of the Xbox entertainment system" And now without Kinect. To be honest I like Kinect, it's fun to use it and I was kind of hoping that Kinect would have been used to improve the game-experience. There may be many people who don't like it, but that doesn't change that the heads of Microsoft Xbox department changes their mind continually. I guess, I should upgrade my PC instead. |
