| Hello, after reading that this contains some spoilers for season 2 and season 4, I don't really feel like watching it. My question is, do I need to watch it? Does it contain any information I need to know before watching season 2? Or is it just filler material? |

| It's essentially 'filler' that actually fills in a gap. There's no need to watch it and it doesn't add anything to the overall story that'll be relevant later. (It was also pretty generic imo.) On the other hand Major kind of becomes a continuous rehash as it goes on, so it's possibly one of the more enjoyable parts of the series. TLDR: Don't have to watch, keep going through the seasons. Production order is the best order in this case. |

| I'd say its necessary to really understand Goro and the type of player/person he is and what lengths he'll go to for his teammates/himself such as in the last game of s1 and actions that he will take in the future. There is a slight inconsistency with the ending of this movie and the beginning of s2 tho. It is noticeable and feels a little out of place tbh. But it can be easily overlooked. |
