a person who considers Nina perfect must be mentally disturbed

personally I have yet to see any perfect anime or manga, sceptical as to whether such a thing exists
got two VNs though I've given perfect 10s but that's it

Hopefully they'll announce a second season asap...
5 main aspects I base my ratings on:
1. Did DramaEnthusiast make a thread about it?
2. Is it better than Breaking Bad?
3. Did MellowJello recommend the shit out of it?
4. Has it caused a (very entertaining) shitstorm on MAL?
5. Is it actually good?

Scratch the fifth point, it's not very relevant...

Suzaku was a great character.

Nina is just your average background character, who contributed to the plot when it was necessary. I don't understand all the hate she gets.

You don't have to read them to get the point.

But anyway, static character ≠ bad character to begin with, so the whole "minuscule character development" point, even if true, doesn't matter.

I will agree with that, anyway.. I gave the movie an 8, its great but not perfect, that's my point

Anime I wouldn't change? I'd say Texhnolyze, Spirited Away, and Kaiba. They're the only anime I have ranked as '10' at the moment, so I suppose I view them as so.

P.S. Why does everyone view shows such as Code Geass, Clannad, and Gurren Lagann as perfect? Yeah, I know people like them and all, but they are far from flawless. All of them have major setbacks and problems with them, I have no idea why anyone would call them 'perfect'.

Anime I wouldn't wish to change even a single frame from? Well, I can think of a few:

Inferno Cop - Best anime ever made.

Tonari no Totoro - This shit was my childhood

Aoi Bungaku - The setting and pace are spot-on throughout the show.

Tsumiki no Ie - Alright, I know this is like a 12 minute animated short film, but it's fucking brilliant.

Memories - The three different stories that are portrayed in this were too interesting and well paced for me to stop watching for a minute.

Cowboy Bebop - It's well thought-out, and changing it would only be detrimental.

Eureka Seven - There were some flaws, but I wouldn't even think of changing it, for it was thought out in such a perfect way for the show.

Finally,
Kara no Kyoukai 5 - One major issue throughout the KnK series is that the pacing is a bit too slow. However, KnK 5 changes that completely. The pacing is spot on throughout the movie, and by the end it definitely had left its mark on me. That's why it's up here.

Also, if Homunculus (#ObviouslyTheBestMangaEver) is ever made into an anime, it's probably going to be up here in my "Wouldn't change a thing" list.
It's natural for a person to deny he's a failure as a human being. That's why he searches for somebody who is more miserable than himself. That's why so much animosity exists on the internet. Those who aren't able to find a more miserable person, turn to the internet and call other people losers, even though they've never met. Just to make themselves feel superior. isn't that pathetic? There's a sense of security that comes from speaking badly of someone else. But that isn't true salvation. — Tatsuhiro Satou

None. There's no such thing as a perfect work of entertainment, and if there is, I haven't seen it. There's always something I want to change in whatever I watch.

That doesn't mean you wanna change them though.

Well that makes no sense.

If I see flaws in even my favorites, why wouldn't I want to correct them? Less flaws = better right? There really is no benefit in "not wanting to change something" if you see the flaws, know it could have been better, and you aren't blinded by fanboyism. (yeah I made up that word)

My favorite anime is AnoHana. I COULD say I wouldn't want anything changed, but that would be a lie. For one, some things weren't explained, and 2 it could have been a 24 episode anime with more development. Easy fixes really, but it was still a 10 to me because nothing is perfect.

Like what? It picks up even more in the second half and weaves everything together extremely well. It was even better than the first half, and it even ends well (it does have a 'good' ending). Everything that happens in the second half is just extremely well spread out and paced well. Artistic merit and influence by the end was also just great. I fail to see what the "problems" are in the second half.

It has a lot of things that don't make sense or aren't explained properly, and by explained properly I mean there aren't even enough hints to come up with a explanation without making baseless assumptions.

A quick example:

I might be wrong in some of my "problems" of course, but I do have plenty of them. We can discuss this further if you want.
