| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Decent episode. I'm not a big fan of Haruichi Kominato yet but he's got his style of a player. Pretty good player definitely and would make a valuable asset on any team. Eijun sure improved. The way he slides into that base was epic. Look @ that smile at the end. Hell ya. |

| Haruichi is a badass! I'm impressed by Eijun's skills too. I'm guess his pitches are hard to get a good hit out of? Kind of like Oofuri Mihashi's weird fastballs that always become flyballs. Next episode preview spoils everything lol. But whatever. Solid episode as usual. Very intense. YES. We get to see Chris next ep! |
| Yeeaah go Haruichi! Need more of him. Love how Ryousuke smirks a little in the back. Poor Furuya, his junior high team couldn't handle his talent and so he's never felt the "team" spirit that he's seeing from Eijun and the other first-years :( But it's okay, because Seidou will be the best place for you! Anyways, love Eijun's determination and guts, always throwing right down the middle. Good thing it worked for the most part until Masuko came up. But of course, Eijun wasn't fazed at all with his best pitch getting hit, instead he's even more excited! That smile :D Can't wait to see Chris's debut next episode! |

I have to rewatch that "sliding" and the "smile" parts several times because it really looks cool. Love Eijun's positive personality too. And I can't stop laughing when he just blurted out that he did not know that sign. Haha, he is really a funny guy. A lot of interesting characters too. Can't wait for the next episode! |
| I am absolutely loving this fighting for places within the school itself. Just goes to show how much realistic it is. Take Kuroko no Basuke for example. The are always the 5 or the 6 playing the games with very little competition within the team which I find rather unrealistic (well, KnB is good as it is, I am actually okay with it being unrealistic, because it's fun on its own right). If they are all gunning for the starting nine, imagine how good the show will be when they all actually go for Koshien against other top schools! Btw, I thought they are showing Haruno a little too many times every time something happens. I am still hoping that Wakana shows up! (I know it's a sports anime, but cannot help it!) |

| Good episode, I'm glad Eijun is finally getting his turn to shine and he's doing well. It was realistic how he didn't breeze through the whole team and there's still room for improvement when he got defeated. That smile at the end was pretty cool and it seems like he's getting promoted to 2nd string after this. |

| One error, and the coach sends the guy down to second-string? This guy is tough! He looks scary in the preview too. Great episode. The sports series owned this weekend. Kuroko, Ippo, and Ace of Diamond all had incredible episodes. |

| Every episode I am pumped!!!!!! Eijun's slide was epic. Hanamura's batting was awesome!!!!. But OMG Eijun'a pitching!!!!! AHHHHH XDDDDD. I love everything about him. His epic facial expression, laugh, and determination. Also I love other characters as well!!!! OHHHHH Chris Sempai!!! |

Well I don't find Eijun annoying, I think he's really funny and I like his gutsy way of doing things, even if it's idiotic. It's quite obvious that he has room for character development, not everyone is perfect at what they do from the beginning. After seeing how Furuya got into the first string with just one pitch, Eijun is going to be trying his best too to show what he can do. Of course that's not the best move because he should be listening to the catcher, but he'll learn. |

I normally don't like the wild protagonists who believe that trying hard will be enough to win, but I'm actually liking Eijun a lot. He makes the show very enjoyable and exciting with his positivity. Also, yeah. It's his special pitch - the knuckle ball (as Sourire says) which is his best pitch I'm assuming. Notice that his pitches actually were kind of hard to hit for the older kids, but the mustache guy noticed and got it because he's just more experienced. |

| I'm interested in Haruichi now. I'm liking how he plays so far, him and Eijun would a good team if put together. Eijun is finally moving forward..this is the first MC I've seen in a sports series with a personality like Eijun's. I'm liking it so far, I think it's good to be out of the norm but I hope he doesn't keep this attitude if they lose in real games. |

| Too bad the first years hadn't played like that from the start! Took Eijun's spirit to get them going. He still isn't that smart but he's got great enthusiasm and confidence and it started to rub off on the rest of them. Great to see him score that run with his slide and then get a chance to pitch. If he can learn how to play smart instead of just challenging the hitters head to head he could really go somewhere. |

| Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances. He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter. Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga. Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month. Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel. The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck. |

| I hope the guy with the monstrous pitching opens up and begins to enjoy the game and the team, because ... as of now ... he is the one I don't like. I mean, he is even below the stage of participating in a game and, apparently, there's more to the game than just catch-for-me-bro :( As for the anime, ... want more! |
