| I like Kotori but this series feels a little thin. There's barely any comedy, and everything is a bit too perfect; there is basically no awkwardness or melancholy to balance the sugary sweetness like with a good iyashikei story. Plus all the hugging gets diminishing returns, for lack of a better word, since it keeps happening so often. Good artowork, Kotori is adorable and there's a potentially interesting premise, but that may not be enough, apparently. |
