whilst I wasn't badly affected, I know a lot of people were badly affected by st jude
I heard a lot of people had power outages, and some people have died
i hope everyone stayed safe and are ok

it affected a lot of the UK, I was told by my manager not to come in to work today

"winds gusting up to nearly 100mph" is pretty weak compared to your average note worthy US hurricane, but it's easily enough to knock out power in the affected area and cause a few freak accidents

I was in a red warning area and it wasn't windy at all. It was really windy last night though

storms are much common and stronger in the tropics though but i hope everyone is alright

im up north didn't really get much weather wise did cause me some disruption catching the train however

It was only really the south west which was affected. Nothing really happened here in the south east, although the trains were really badly delayed but no trees being uprooted or anything major like that.

Trees were uprooted, a few people died, no trains in or out the city for almost the whole day, etc.
I was forced to stay inside today and looking at the amount of train accidents I'm glad.

I woke up because of the storm, The winds and rain where just slamming against my window.

Was sick that day though. But today There were atleast 5 fallen trees blocking my path to work.
