| awh man...feels. Renge chan seems so lonely and bored. Itw as funny and adorable, yet somehow, a bit sad seeing Renge walking around and singing to herself. seeing Renge-chan's moment of shock and her tears seriously made my heart ache... but the ending was so heartwarming. Renge-chan can show Honoka the place with the waterfall next year. The art of the various scenery was breathtaking. I always get chills. I have fallen in love with the tranquility and nostalgia Non Non Biyori brings me. Amazing episode. |

| Episode with a story with two faces, this really interesting combination. Nice and funny, touching and sad, that whirlwind of different feelings, really nice. Drawings and animations beautiful, well-made sets, apt soundtrack to different contexts proposed. Too cute and catchy the opening and the ending. |

| That was good. This show has something so heartwarming in it. I just can't describe it. Sure, the characters are cute and all, but every other moe is like that. But this... This has "something". Some charm. Like I said, I can't describe it. So Ren-chon made a new friend. That's nice, but I wish she'd show more emotions. It's like she always has the same face whatever she feels. | I didn't get why this scene was so goddamn long but after reading some posts on here I found out that it seems I am the only one who didn't.. for me it was ridiculous and the whole ep was boring as hell. i guess i just can't relate or whatever  And why before she cried she was always emotionless? creepy.. |

| Summer friends, it was quite sad indeed. The long scene where Renge was all frozen and then she slowly begins to tear up. Poor girl, she really liked hanging out with her. I found the scene where she steps on her sister to be quite hilarious. Renge is pure life. And the part with Honoka as well. I enjoyed seeing Renge hang out with someone her age.l |

Ren's friend leaving so suddenly was relatable since the same thing happened to me as a kid and I cried the whole day ;-; I'm glad Honoka wrote her a letter though, I knew it couldn't all end so sadly. Enjoyed this episode a lot! Back to the relaxed, country-side Episode 1/2 atmosphere, which I think is when this show shines the most. |

I want to give her a hug so baaad. Omfg. My poor baby. ;-; At least she's happy again when a week later, she received a letter from Honoka with a photo of them two together. Gaaah. So freaking kawaii. <3 So far, this anime didn't disappoint me not one bit. Ugh. So in love with this anime so much. :3 |

| I didn't expect to cry from this series... Wow. The Ren and Honoka segment was so great. It perfectly captured the wonder, kindness, and adventure of childhood friendship as well as the immense sadness that comes with it. When you're friendships are dependent on circumstance and specifically your parents these things are frail. It was so beautiful seeing the two meet and naturally gravitate to each other, Honoka must be one of the few kids as young as Ren is that she's gotten to see. In mere moments they were best friends. And while in the moment I did think the Ren face shot went on too long, it was pretty good in that it totally gave off the feeling of Ren not understanding what had happened. How could her new best friend be gone, like that? She was sucked away from her boredom sitting by the fan into a life of waking up early excited to see her and just like she came she was gone. When all that finally hit her and she started to cry and make the small but emotional noises she did I cried with her. It conveyed it all so well. And after a week of boredom by that fan again she finally got that letter and the amazement all came back. Just absolutely awesome. |

| Don't get too discouraged, Natsumi.. You just can continue do, what your family does.. Are their farmers as well as Renge's family, no?.. If no, then it might be a problem.. But if yes, it's no problem.. Renge found girl her age, and hangs out nicely with her~ ;P She's also excited and getting up early.. ;p But yeah.. That girl was going to rest only for a time there.. Still poor Renge.. I'm glad she's happy with new friend visiting her after a year.. Maybe they'll even be able to write each other more, who knows.. In the end.. It seems that she found new friend, and it seems they'll continue to hang out in one way or another.. So it's better than if she'd never met her, I guess.. New friend, and the future.. ;P |
| Rewatching this episode thinking I am ready for what's coming, but that long pause before Renge break to tears, I can't...I just can't....it completely destroyed me, again. That scene is really well done, no words, no nothing, only that little squeak and that's enough to make a grown adult break to tears. |

| One of the best anime episodes I've ever seen! The second half of the episode is a true Masterpiece. Renge with her new colleague, and shows everything so naturally ... They become friends, having fun with the greatest "simplicity" of the field. I'm reviewing Non Non Biyori, and the experience has been incredible. This particular episode causes so many emotions that it is difficult to write. I was happy, sad about the sudden "farewell", because Renge just wanted to have fun again with her new colleague. Seeing Renge, it's really sad. It is impossible not to be sad too. And the end of the episode with Renge receiving Honoka's letter? Sweat even fell from my eyes! It is extremely exciting everything that happened in almost all the friendship between Renge and Honoka in that short period of time. I didn't really remember that this episode is so good. 10/10 |

And behind her cute and funny behavior she's so serious! Oh! And I was wondering as well, about the girls parents...perhaps is too soon to wonder though 😋. I will probably find out later...or not...😄 |
