Shirt-less Araragi-kun :o I'm definitely liking the start of this new arc so far. Nice to see Ononoki again I guess, I missed her somewhat. I wasn't expecting a kiss from her though. That kinda surprised me. Vampireeeeeeee punch. |

| The fact that SHAFT did counts those kisses made me happy again. A very nice adaptation for the first part. eminagnam said: That black stuff and the chase scene reminded me of Shinsekai yori. Curious to see the identity. Don't expect much of it. |

| Fairly good adaptation, only 62 pages covered so a good pace though still a lot of stuff left out but they'll have to pick it up a bit to cover it all in 4 episodes. They choose well, lots of good moments animated. For a second there I thought it was even going to be less pages adapted when the ED came early but there was another chapter still to go. Hope we get an OP next week! Can't wait for Shinobu's song... |

Well, a nice instrumental should be fine for kibun tenkan. Also, it is not really relevant to adapt those zatsudan about comic serialization because it will not appeal much to the anime-only viewers. However, the shortcoming of the removal of the part, lead to the awkward moment of Hachikuji angry-play. |

I love her singing voice and she has done such a great job of character songs in OreGairu, Tari Tari, OreImo, et al. She is a lot of fun in events too and she can really sing live. Some seiyuu are dreadful live. |

| ononoki is really winning me over this season her 2 conversations with araragi so far have been some of my favorite. she seems a lot more comfortable without kagenui. also glad i watched after the credits almost missed the shinobu/koyomi kiss until i realized there was no way the ending was 3+ minutes long. |
| Hm, good start to the arc. Wonder what the black shadow was and if we are going to see Senjougahara in this arc. Ougi Oshino seems like would have a role to play in this arc...excited to see more of her since she is very mysterious 5/5 score for the episode |

| Already hyped for this one, but after that ending..the OST was fucking perfect, and then the mention of her first servant gave me those Kizu feels...what a set up. Boarding the hype train. | Amazing. 2 kiss scenes in one episode with 2 different girls neither of which were Senjougahara. That was unexpected. Need to see the scene where he explains that to her. Anyways, this arc is starting out great like all the ones this season. 5/5 |

| Monogatari's back, bitches! Don't get me wrong, I loved Nadeko Medusa, and Mayoi Jiangshi was good, too, but they were so plot-focused, it didn't have that crisp, doing fuck-all NisiOisiN feel. This has got it all. Plus I like Ononoki, soooooo... Hey, this just occurred to me...Koyomi instinctively stopped for a red light...Ougi said something about red lights in Mayoi Jianshi...Half-Life 3 confirmed!
