| I really liked the recurrent joke that implied Hajime and Leo smoke weed. "How high are you, you smoked all of it didn't you?!" and later "Did I smoke so much I can't remember getting high..? Yeah...". More cool directing, Leo getting a fisheye lens when the site took him and the weird artistic shots of him in alternating colors and distortion. That said, I don't know if it makes sense that the river was online? The ghost just takes lost people right? So, Leo didn't end up being physically lost but lost on the net. So it should have been taken to the underworld with the computer like a portal, but I don't think the kids should have been able to interact with the river through the computer itself without traveling there. Are you telling me the underworld is located on the net? But, logic probably shouldn't be applied to this anime too hard. Also, the hands trying to drag Leo down to drown him were pretty grotesque. Assuming those were other people who drowned refusing to cross the river, there were baby hands in the mix too, creepy. |
