| Some people (cough cough Tumblr) don't understand that having social privileges =/= having an easy life. Being white just means that you will never suffer true discrimination (no, "why can't I say the N-word?" does not count as discrimination) due to the colour of your skin. That is all. Same goes for being male, straight, cisgender (not transgender) or on the privileged flipside of any minority group. People who belong to privileged social groups can and will suffer problems in life just like any other person. |
