I hear many people say that they either wear their jeans for 1 day and put it in dirty laundry or they use it for like 2-3 days then it's considered dirty laundry. I'm mostly a shorts person so I hardly use pants... when I do, either 2 days or somethin.

But, what's your opinion on how long you wear pants?

Three days to a week. Depends if it's hot outside or not.

I used to wear my jeans one a day, back when my parents did my laundry for me.

Now that I'm older, it just seems like a waste of water, money, time, and a good pair of pants. Every cycle is just gonna fade it even more.

Plus, I actually took the time to sniff a pair after 3 days, and whaddya know: pants don't really smell.

Only when I spill something.

Other pants? Depends, if I need them for a nice occasion I'll make sure to wash them, otherwise I wear them several times before a wash.

edit: I actually spill more frequently than one should, so it's not like I don't wash.

Investing in a decent pair of jeans goes a long way.

Used to do that as well, but pants don't really smell or get dirty very often. I wash all my other clothes after one day of use though, just not my pants.

Pretty much this. Also, I hate the feeling of the jeans when you wear them after you wash it for the first time :/

i agree too. The feel of like skinny jeans when you put them on :( feels like your legs are going to rip your pants or something

Why wouldn't I? It's not like it becomes contaminated with diseases after I wear it for a day. Unless I spill some food or something on it, I'll wash it.

Ugh yeah, mostly also because they feel stiff and it's harder to move around in them until the day is over.

Exactly, especially for college students, it's quite annoying to have to wash everything after you wear it only once. Also, the fading thing that Mellow mentioned. Jeans fade pretty quickly after a few wash if it's not exactly high quality :(

1. It's dirty.
2. You've already worn it. Don't you want to change up your appearance?

I still have my Nudie jeans from half a year ago and still haven't washed them yet. Maybe because you're not suppose to.

And you don't have to wear jeans either. There are a lot of other things that cover legs.

Is it really (visibly) dirty though? And you don't have to wear them consecutively, just after a few times of wear. I don't see what's the problem. Also, it's not like anyone knows you're not wearing "dirty" jeans :P

Well I sure as hell don't wear any other than blue ones, and in that case no they do in fact not look all that different.

Three days a week! I'm the one doing the laundry so yeah. Three days it is. And jeans is so hard to wash. Not mention that it's heavy.

I wear them up to a week, or earlier when I dropped food and it left stains.

For shirts at most 2 days, not longer.

Usually 3-6 weeks, unless I make a huge mess of them. Boxers even longer, basically until the cumstains actually crust over enough to be irratating.

I'm also dirty as fuck and don't care....so that probably influences it...

Jeans don't get dirty. They even made tests on that.

Now all I have to do is find them, some dude wore a pair of jeans for something like 15 months and they found like the same number of bacteria in freshly cleaned ones?

Pants are another story, I change them every 1-2 days.

1. You must be rolling in mud and sweating like a pig if your jeans are dirty after a day.
2. You can change your clothes without having to wash them every time.

I don't wear pants when out of the house.

My skirts don't really pick up much dirt/sweat/etc, so I hand wash them once a month. I wash my shirts after wearing twice.

As if a thread like this was made a 2nd time. Anyways I don't wash my jeans much unless they're obviously dirty/smelly or whatever else. Jeans can lose colour easily so why dafuq would I?

I wear pants all year round and I only wear them once before washing.
I've tried wearing the same pair a second day in a row, but it just doesn't feel right, kind of like wearing the same pair of socks in a row, weird.
