| I've played them all. Or at least tried to play them all. After Gen II, Pokemon started to suck. Gen III was alright while Gen IV and Gen V horrified me so much that I ended up giving up on them without beating either. I have been called a Genwunner, as apparently I'm so incredibly bias that no matter what Gen I and II cannot be beaten. Which isn't true. To me, Gen I and II were just so much better. Gen VI, on the other hand, made me rethink this. Gen VI is the only Pokemon game since 2000 that entranced me. Even more so than Gen I and II. I beat it within the week and loved every second of it. The music, the graphics, the characters, and the whole atmosphere. The music is unspeakably good. For me, Pokemon X was able to best my childhood memories with Red and Silver version. So what is your favorite Generation? |

| The second for me. It's my silly opinion but I think that's the last good pokemon gen, seeing the trailer for gen 3 when I was little dissapointed me because everything just looked the same as what I played previous generations. |

| I loved Gen III.... I don't think I walked anywhere in Hoenn once I got the bike. I just bunnyhopped everywhere. And the battle frontier from Emerald has yet to be matched by anything. |

| My favourite has to be Gen III. I remember my childhood was just consumed by playing Sapphire. It still has some of my favourite designs with ones like Salamence and Metagross (I know people call this gen's design too Digimon-esque but I don't care). Also Blaziken is also still my favourite starter. |

| I'm in love with the first 2 gens too. They were my childhood. And I disliked Gen 3, 4, and 5. However, so many of you are ignoring Gen 6, which leads me to the fact that 99% of you probably haven't played either Y or X. Gen 6 is fucking amazing. It did everything right and I mean absolutely everything. |

| Nostalgia aside, Gen 4 was the best and had awesome Pokemon designs and my favorite pokemon in it, they're also better than the previous ones, I still of course like the rest... well Gen 5 I don't think I liked it at that much(Can't really remember the pokemon even though I own the game.) |

| Gen 1 in almost every aspect. But i do think every gen has some points they are stand out in compared to others. I never understood the hate towards B/W though. They had the best ingame story if you ask me. Also currently I'm playing gen 6, and although it is pretty fun. I have to say they took one big step towards the more childish side again. Anyway. gen 1 > gen 2/gen 3/gen 5 > gen 6 > gen 4 |

| It's coming closer to reality that Pokemon might last longer than my time on this planet. Kids in the year 3013 will all be proclaiming how Gen 1,824,128 pwns all the previous gens. Yeah, good luck memorizing billions and billions of pokemon. i thought 150 was alot, not its at 700+ and at the rate they're going, should reach 1K or more in 5 years or so. Gen 1,824,128's pre-evolved form of their starter pokemon would obliterate the 3 legendary birds, mewtwo, and mew and all the other legendary pokemon from the later gens combined. Regardless, Ash will still be 13 and hasn't aged for some inexplicable reason.... |

| My order goes: Gen 1/2 Gen 3 Gen 4/Gen 6 (I love you Sylveon) Gen 5 I think Gen 1/2 have best music, but Pokemon Emerald is my favourite. On a side note I ended up spending too long in the Battle Castle on Pokemon Y so now have lv 60+ when I'm only against lv 40s. Gen 6 have the biggest distractions. |
| Gen 1 and 2 for me. I enjoyed gen 2 because of more pokemon and the world was twice as large. Gen 6 for graphics and easier competitive mechanics. |
