| This is by far one of the most beautiful shows I've ever watched in my life. It's just such a simple concept for a show (for now) and so well-executed. It knows what it's going for and it's not overstepping the boundaries. And I repeat, the artists are absolute damn geniuses - I have been in AWE of how gorgeous every single scene was. Damn. The characters are the worst drawn parts - and they're still well-drawn. I love the different characters and the way they interact. I didn't realise this show was about, well, calm country life. It took me by (pleasant) surprise. |

| I was surprised when they mentioned something about horsetails and eating them. The tension build scene with 'gu' was hilarious. Animation wise it's a a well done job and the atmosphere is quite relaxing. The moment when they were at the cherry blossom tree I enjoyed that specific soundtrack and the moment as a whole. At last she - nyanpasu girl - comes to the conclusion that they do live in the sticks actually - that might be seen as plot progression. Because of the opening I remembered hanasaku iroha, an anime which I really enjoyed so it's a good opening for me. |

| Nyaapasu Nyaapasu Nyaapasu This was one relaxful episode. I thought it was a country version of Kiniro Mosaic. So far it's been pretty much females in the town. Poor guy in the school, he's stuck on the floor and the girls just walked away lol For a healing show I love it. Renge and her flute cute. I liked how she kept asking the same question of is this the country side. |

| It's always the shows I don't expect anything out of that end up surprising me... if you ever wondered what a well-paced, true-to-life slice of life anime looks like, this episode at least fits the bill. I've never liked SoL series, but if this show can keep up this presentation for 12 episodes I'll change my mind, because this was a very pleasant experience indeed! I really think it's the slower (not boring, just more realistic) pacing and the restrained voice acting compared to other anime in this genre that makes it for me. Getting a transfer student isn't normally filled with "oohs" and "ahs", it's like "interesting! who are you?" Playing dodgeball with a few kids isn't some hyper-dimensional deathmatch, you throw it a couple times, everyone sucks, and you move on to something more interesting. This show just seems to get the slice of life vibe in a way I haven't really seen. I won't get ahead of myself since this is only one episode, but so far I love it <3 |

| My dad is a teacher when he started he was placed in a village in the middle of nowhere. He had 12 students raging from 1st to 7th grade and 4 adults that couldn't read. During harvest the school would shut down because they needed the kids to work the fields. And during winter they would have classes in the church because the school building only had a wood stove. |

| Ren is such a wholesome loli. She's so adorable. I love how you can tell by her expressions exactly what she's thinking. She's always observing things and trying to understand things. I love how her expression sparked up at the comment about monkeys randomly appearing in cities. >:o The sound design and music and background art are so peaceful and beautiful. I'm very curious about Hotaru's life before moving. Did she have friends? She's quite grateful and happy people are reaching out to her for sure. Male classmate-kun is just a guy who fell in the hole hmm. Overall this was very sweet, relaxing, and funny. |

| Nyan..pasu?.. Nyanpasu?.. 5 pupils in whole school.. So far I like atmosphere in this anime.. Started with comfy views of the place.. Followed by characters who seem to be easy-going.. Good relaxing anime so far.. ;p Honestly, this school at the same time looks like new, really tidy, not dusty, colors of painting aren't dull as well.. And at the same time they have roof with holes.. Feels paradoxical a bit.. ;p Well.. I doubt it's a good idea to leave your house open in rural area.. Yeah, maybe it wouldn't help that much, but still.. I wonder, what kind of work needed to do Hotaru's father.. Well, it could be any kind, really, like a construction, or anything, really.. Still, I wonder, for how long she's in their place.. For better or worse.. I guess, it's kinda a bit sad that from such city as Tokyo Hotaru transferred here.. I wonder, if it'd be hard for her to live her life later, if she'd forget things how they go in city.. Because I imagine they're going to transfer again later back, when whatever work will be finished?.. Especially worried as she'd still learn many things in city life in her age, teens getting more active in their lives, both exploring life, city, relationships.. As Hotaru is in 5th grade.. Well, I'm a bit worried for her, but who knows, how it'll turn out, really.. Only years will tell.. If she's staying here for longer.. Yep, this anime is very slow paced at times, it seems.. Characters making pauses.. It suits the place they're in, after all.. ;p It's just calming anime so far, which is nice.. It's wholesome and fun.. ;p |

| Yeah, this is seriously relaxing! Nyanpasu ~ Atmosphere and feel from the countryside is just great. Setting-wise, especially with the mixed classes reminds me of Higurashi. Newbie is unusual for having locks, you can tell how much of a shock this must've all been for her. Good thing she cheered up in the end though. Definitely in for this! |

| That really felt like a comfy episode This really is a countryside vibe that I'm feeling and I somehow like it a break from all the tech advancements that's all been going on and this show is a breather from it Kinda cute that they're all friends from the class although they are a small group I think I'm starting to see a chill vibe from this show. |

| Oh darn, I already love the atmosphere of this show. The backgrounds look really nice. I just hope it won't get boring after a while since the setting does seem somewhat limiting to me at the moment. The little girl character is genuinely funny, though. She kinda reminds me of Osaka from Azumanga Daiou (aka the best character from there). |

| This was a decent introduction to how this anime is going to be and what will it offer. The comedy in this episode was timed perfectly, there weren't many comedic moments but the ones that were present really got a laugh outta me. The scenery show with music at the start was a good way to show us viewers the village, it's a beautiful village. Finally got where that "nyan pasu" meme song came from xD. The girls seem nice. They immediately included Houtaro in their group even giving her a nickname (completely skipping all honorifics xD). I feel bad for the dude tho, bro just keeps getting left out lmao. They are doing a good job of showing us the nuances of living in a country-side. One classroom for students of all classes, no combini, one bus every 2 hours, no one locking doors of their house. The sakura tree part was beautiful. Loved how they all brought Houtaro to experience that. I wonder how Houtaro feels about living there though, she must feel like she's msising out a lot from when she was in Tokyo. If it was me I definitely couldn't go living in a country side after living in a big city for my whole life. The ending got me good. "Yappari!" *cue dramatic music* This is one of those animes enjoyed best when watched after a long day. The dose of cuteness and wholesomeness with comedy added is perfect to relax. |
