| Alright, since no one seems to have much to say, I'll throw a couple of names in. Love in Hell Monster Musume Love in Hell is an interesting one, with some decent characters, a different setting (literally Hell), and fairly good story that doesn't seem to crowbar the fanservice in. And while it became extremely rushed and sort of fell apart at the end, it's only 3 volumes, is available in America and is an accessible read. Fulfilling the genre of 'Monster Girls', Monster Musume is ridiculous and absurd, and everyone's character types are cranked up to 11, but it's aware of the fact and rolls with it to deliver comedy that usually works. It services a somewhat niche crowd without being overbearing or demeaning. This one is also being brought to America and is currently ongoing. Both of these fall under the unusual relationships or setup category, and both don't pull punches when it comes to the ecchi aspect. |
